I think we should save this for the System Wars forum.

[QUOTE="marvingamebeast"]I have been searching for mario kart wii forever and it is not in any store. I mean come on do they have old people making and boxing the games or what.Deominator

Where some would see a negative I see a positive. Now you can take the money that you would have spent on an average rehash with little new to offer and you can buy MGS4 and enjoy what is surely to be the GOTY or GOTY runner-up across all platforms!

Providence!

What a troll.

World Tour Soccer 2006 for the PS2. That piece of cow dung has to be one of the worst sports games ever made.

I'm going to say, "Screw it," and just point out one of the most tragically ignored games ever: Gun.

Gun was an awesome action-adventure set in the Old West, and it was easily one of the best games of 2005.

It sold only 255,000 copies across 6 platforms.

The PS3 has definitely begun to show some life recently, what with Metal Gear Solid 4 as a new killer app that will certainly move some systems. Also, we've got Resistance 2 and Gran Turismo 5 coming up, and if Home doesn't turn out to be vaporware, that can only help as well.

Right now, the Blu-ray is only a way to watch more expensive movies, and it isn't particularly appealing to the average consumer. But in a few years, it could be an ace up the PS3's sleeve, as the technology becomes more widespread and available.

It certainly will be interesting to watch how this all plays out.

Wow, this topic is full of fail. Almost at 9 pages, and no one has listed even one franchise definitively ruined by the Wii.

Wait, there's another one I just remembered and I'm surprised nobody's mentioned it: The Tiger Game.com (pronounced game com.)

(I would include a nice picture here, but Firefox feels the need to be a son of a (expletive))

It was released in 1997, and intended to compete with the unstoppable Game Boy. The main difference was: this thing actually had a touch screen (wow, a DS 8 years earlier) and... wait for it... ONLINE PLAY!

However, the Game.com had the misfortune of coming out just before the Game Boy Color. Of course, people wanted the color advantage and didn't see a reason to get their gaming fix with the Game.com.

But the most infamous aspect of this system: its absolutely horrific TV ads. One in particular featured a midget pitchman in an orange jumpsuit who said things like, "It plays more games than you idiots have brain cells," referring to the very gamers he was trying to sell to. Ironically, only 20 games were ever released. Idiots!

Interesting that you use the cover of the 360 version, considering this topic has nothing to do with the 360.
