People need to stop telling devs how to make games lol :-D I don't want them to make anything other than the game they want to make.. this is CD Projekt Red my friends.. they tend to make pretty good games when left to their own devices :-P :-)
@Deeze-Nutz: Yeah I don't understand why people think building and maintaining a PC is this big hardcore chore lol, I put mine together 3 years ago. Besides a few openings to dust (which is a lot easier to do on a PC than a console :-P), it hasn't had to be "tinkered" with once since I loaded the OS. I load a program, it works..
Save your money when it comes to VR right now. It's not worth the money. Wait for the next gen. I've used all three, PSVR is like a Virtual Boy with a full color palate, Oculus and Vive are ok, and there a great experiences in all three, including PSVR. They are only the beginning. That $400 will get you a much more premium experience if you wait a couple years and game as you have for now. I will guarantee that. $400 is a lot to spend, if you already have a PC that will run it, the Oculus set up at 4 isn't too bad, there's some REALLY fun games on steam, and experiences in the community. The Vive is the best performer of the 3, it's also the most expensive.
Again, they just aren't worth it yet. Be a bit patient, let these guys spend the money now, and we can buy the stuff that they make with all the problems fixed from this gen later :-D
@timmyp1982: Yes it was the fastest, I also explained why it was the strongest.. cherry pick all you want. If you don't like the system cool, but what's the point of running all over the comment section of a system you don't even like? Everyone likes and looks for different things, so yes, it was the fastest selling console, but it had the strongest library within the first year of release than any of the other console's first year.. I won an Xbox One for free from Gamespot and traded it.. it had been out almost a year and there were no games I wanted to play on it.. Sometimes it comes down to taste in games, which from person to person varies wildly. So I don't try to criticize platforms I may or may not play honestly. I'm just a gamer that loves to play games, no matter what system or way you play.. I just feel like people are trashing the Switch just to do it. It's a great addition to our video game abilities and selection.. it enables us to play full featured games on the go, something we've never been able to do before at this level, if you think that doesn't come with a few drawbacks or concessions, you don't know technology.
Nintendo swung a bold bat, and they're hitting a lot of balls...
@og_gamerzzz: I love my Switch dude, it's got great portable games, sure some of the price points are expensive, but they've had the strongest console launch in history.. just sayin'.. None of the other consoles had even close to the amount of available games the first year of release, new or "remastered". And they all had a couple first party new games in the first year, maybe, and then the rest were just new versions of games that just came out on the previous generation. They all do it, why are you singling out Nintendo, most of these games havent been released on Nintendo before and they are actually adding functionality to these games they never had before: portability.
It's cool, we all have our opinions. I think Nintendo thought out of the box, got the third party support people have been hollering at them for for years, and released a system that combines a number of purposes that have never been done. My hat is off to them.
I don't disagree that they charge too much for a lot of stuff. But it's a great little system man.
@og_gamerzzz: Of course they are doing rereleases.. it's offering something you can't get with any other version of the games.. they're portable. To me? That's awesome, the more great games from the past few years they can convert to portable the better. Do I disagree with some of the price points? Sure, everyone does.. Nintendo has always required a bit of premium. But how many games does Nintendo release broken? I've played most of the major rereleases, and the new Switch releases, and they are great. I love playing LA Noire, Skyrim, Doom, MK 8, Zelda, Odyssey, and now portable Bayonetta? It's awesome, all of them on the go.. I travel a lot, it's great to have them to take anywhere, and have perfectly playable, fun versions of the games. This "dated" console is crushing sales, so dated or not, people like it whether you do or not. What's the point of being a Debbie Downer when people obviously like what they've purchased lol, everyone I know that owns one loves it. It isn't without its limitations, but not one console on the market doesn't have limitations.
