I don't want to sound like a jackass but I think you will have to spend some time modifying the game on PC to make it , somewhat , bug-free .

A plus on the PC side is the fact that you have mods , like the other helpers said .

If you are lazy you might want to pick the Ipad version (would have been great if it was on Android ) .

Phenom II x4 960T is good enough .

The performance could be 5-10% better , but the Haswell CPUs are going to consume a lot less energy and have a better integrated GPU , that's about it .

Find yourself a laptop/notebook that has at least :

CPU : Pentium Dual Core Sandy Bridge II

Memory : 4 GB DDR3

GPU : gt 540m/gt 630m/6650m/7670m

With that you would be able to play Far Cry 3 with low settings 720p without V-sync or AA or other DirectX options at 30-40 fps .

I would recommend :

CPU : I5 Sandy or Ivy Bridge

Memory : 4 or 8 GB DDR3

GPU : gt 640m or higher

I agree with Darth_Kane , the game is a piece of cake . It sucks to see what happens to most of today's video games .

Every time I start the OS this pops up . Yes I had Curse client but not anymore , it started appearing after I uninstalled the client .
