it does it when i restart as well, i turned off the updates setting so its not that... someties if i log out first and then use the shutdown command form that point it works about 80% of the time, ive only had this computer for as long as ive had vista so i doubt defragging it would help much, if i check the Event Viewer i can find stuff that says "This application caused a delay in the system shutdown process" but its all like... windows system fiels for the most part likr this one "mobsync.exe" i dont know if theres a diagnostic i can run or something

I got vista about a month back, all the complaints about it being incompatible with stuff and a bad OS are compleatly rediculous, ive found its a rgeat OS and only oen thing didnt work with it but it takes about 30 seconds of clicking settings or updating to make stuff work, my only problem so far is that about 60% of the time when i tell it to shutdown it will freeE at my desktop, i still have ouse control btu it just stays there till i force it to shutdown. other then that soemtimes when it says "Logging off" it will stay there forever and not shut down, i even let it sit there overngiht and it didnt help, any suggestions?

from the gameplay vids n such looks like it will be "fun as hell" like the other guy said, gonna be pretty too, just built a brand new pc with sexy graphics card and stuff for games like crysis, its going to be the first in a hopefully long line of orgasmically awesome DirectX10 games

try this if you get the 3 red light... some insight, this is form www.llama.com

  • Turn the xbox 360 on, and wait till the 3 red lights are flashing.
  • Press and hold the sync up button (the small white one), while holding that button press the eject button.
  • The LEDs will now blink the first number in the code (as described below).
  • Release the eject button and press it again.
  • The LEDs will now blink the second number of the code.
  • Release the eject button and press it again.
  • The LEDs will now blink the third number of the code.
  • Release the eject button and press it again.
  • The LEDs will now blink the forth number of the code.
  • Release the eject button and press it again.
  • The LEDs will go back to the 3 red flashing lights.
You should be able to determine the difference between the 3 flashing lights and the error code lights by the rate in which they flash.

Here is how you interpret the LEDs to get the code number:
  • All four lights flashing - 0
  • One light flashing - 1
  • Two Lights flashing - 2
  • Three lights flashing - 3
