@KittyHeart just no, part of what made the quake and doom multiplayer, was that it was all down to the players skill and it was the players skill that increased as you played, there were no in game perks and levels to put an advantage over new players.

its hard to compare the quality of the ps3 and xbox versions with the pc, because if you have a super high end pc its bound to look the best, as those screens have shown, but if you ran portal 2 on my dieing machine it would look awful. but the ps3 doesnt do a bad job, and the xbox just looks to flat and the colours look to false. but the pc just looks stunning.
