so i just start a new game and choose my old character?

if upon beating the game you didnt immediately choose to play a second playthrough with that same character....is it possible to choose at a later point to do that with the upgrades and such that it said you would receive if you chose to do the second playthrough?

i cannot freakin wait to slice people up in Metal Gear Solid: Rising....excited doesnt come close to describing how i feel about that game

Just because Duncan Jones made Moon doesn't mean he can do a action/drama movie like Mass Effect. I think Sam Rockwell deserves more credit than Duncan Jones' directing, IMO, because of his good performance.

Anyway, Mass Effect isn't really a Star Wars type of sci-fi, although the movie would be sent to die if it was a passive hardcore sci-fi drama. JJ Abrams did a pretty good job with Star Trek which was more of a action/adventure film than the traditional geeky Star Trek philosophical stuff in the books and past films. Maybe David Fincher? He did Alien 3. Maybe he can make up for that flop with a good sci-fi movie. Also, Neil Blomkamp did a good job with District 9 especially with the limited resources he had. Imagine what he can do with a huge budget?

And James Cameron is a great sci-fi director, regardless of what Avatar haters think. The Abyss and the 2nd Aliens prove that Cameron can do hardcore and cool sci-fi films if he wanted to. I think it was smart to make Avatar more accessible for the casual audience to enjoy it. If he made it too hardcore, especially with the crazy budget he had for the film, it would've been a bad idea. See? Cameron is a genius. He knew what he was doing.

But there's no way Spielberg or Cameron would do Mass Effect. They're too much into that "greatness" realm so a lesser director will do it.

not that violence or sex/nudity is bad in video games but i think i would much rather my children (if i had any) see nudity over gratuitous amounts of violence

im doing the same thing right now and the contols are getting screwy for me but i dont have a funny story unfortunately =[
