In response to an issue brought up in a previous post, I think there should be higher accountability for dropping out of a match early. I just want to rip my hair out when I start a multiplayer match on Halo 3, and then four 11-13 year olds on my team forget to take their ADD medication and decide to go ride bikes instead, and I have to sit there through the whole match at a distinct disadvantage or I lose experience for leaving early. Nobody cares about player reviews or whether or not to prefer a player. Since I am a paying customer, I believe most online XBL games should have servers for "serious" gamers who want to actually complete matches and don't get a kick out of screaming high-pitched profanity into their mic. Also, I quit PC online gaming because although patch updates etc. are free, every time a new game comes out, you spend a couple hundred to upgrade your rig. Far too expensive IMO.
I have played MG since it was on Nintendo. Fun to play, but I can't say that the "powerful and emotional" storyline really gets me going. The plot is like Madlibs meets Anime filtered through LSD. No tears, definitely glad I have my 360 with all that it entails.
The main storyline is ridiculous and the boss battles can get quite tedious. However, the XBL worldwide multiplayer is heavily populated and can definitely provide some lost hours for you.
