Okay so I just had a birthday and have about $500. I plan on building a new computer, this is my first ever build so I need some help choosing system specs.
Currently I have:
CPU: Phenom II X3 720http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103649
Just wondering besides the RAM benefits is a 64-Bit OS better than 32-Bit? Is it as stable and does it support the same amount of software? I'm looking at upgrading from 32-Bit OS to 64-Bit Vista and need some help.
I'm building a new PC and am in need of suggestions for a good case. I only have around $50-$100 to spend on it so that limits my options. Any help? Oh yea and anything with a PSU would be great, although I know at those prices it might not be very high quality/wattage.
I've been using Ubuntu for awhile now and it is great. It is very simple to use, and altough alot of games don't work in Linux you would still be suprised how many run. Dual-Booting will not make your machine slower, all that happens is that when your system boots up you get to choose what OS to run, so no preformance is sacrificed.
