I also agree that most of the changes are for the better. One that is not is the inability to view the new releases. It is chaos. In the old system, I could even go back to previous weeks or scroll ahead. The new releases, that had videos, were orderly. For the ones that lacked videos, there was still information on the games. This was my favorite feature of Gamespot. It is almost like it is now gone.

Also, I tried to edit my stacks and save. Even though it indicated that the save was successful, it reverted back. This would come under bug reporting. I see that I have a badge for having a "good" emblem, but now my emblem has disappeared. That is sort of ironic; don't you think? Also, I went backwards in rank. Since I hadn't posted in a while, it couldn't possibly be for doing anything wrong.

I often have a great deal of trouble even being able to get onto Gamespot now. Hey, I am being patient; just saying.

One that is challenging and stimulating, without bizarre solutions. An original storyline is a huge plus. Depending on the objective of the game, graphics may or may not be vital. I do like games that involve dialogue as part of the means of solution. However, dialogues are often lacking and seldom present real challenges to conduct. One thing that I have yet to see in an adventure game is more than one way to solve a problem, etc.

This is an Indie puzzle game. Has anyone else looked into this game? What are your thoughts, please?

While I have not play the whole game, I did enjoy the demo for Deponia. It has its own warped humor and an-anti-hero. Has anyone else tried the game?

Sorry, I couldn't help but agree with the points you are making here. I hope it is appropriate to tell you about an online adventure game I have been making. It is kind of in the style of Secret of Monkey Island and King's Quest type games. I would love for you guys to beta test it. The link is http://www.seabreezecomputers.com/paxamore/jeffsbaker
Well, it started off with possibilities, but then I couldn't pick up a round stone or a hammer. It kept saying stuff like an oak tree. BTW, my inventory was not full.

Syberia Series Broken Sword Series Grim Fandango Sanitarium Longest Journey Seriesstrawhatlupi
At first glance, I thought that this thread might be about ideas/concepts for creating a great adventure game. I haven't played Grim Fandango, but it's on my "Wish List." The Syberia & the Longest Journey series might just be the benchmark by how one measures adventure games, for the technology that was used.

Once Sims 4 comes out, EA will probably bundle the various expansion packs and sell them at places like Target and Walmart.

The Sims is EA's best work, or at least high up among them. They would be stupid not to take advantage of that fact and the number of consumers willing to do anything to expand and better their gaming experience. But it's true they do tend to take it over the top. This is one of the reasons why I'm so excited for The Sims 4. They announced that it was going to be an offline experience, which will hopefully eliminate some of the pointless spending.Phenogeek

Well, I wouldn't necessarily argue with as far the Sims being EA's best work. Spore had possibilities, but became repetitive and had unsolved glitches. Someone can give you a Mazerati, but if there's no one who can service it, it eventually becomes worthless to you. A principle of business is to never urinate in the stew. That has become EA's specialty. Look what happened to AOL, when they got cocky about their customers.

After watching the trailer, I'm impressed where they decided to take this game. This could well be a new sub-genre in adventure games. Anyone played this yet, on any platform?
