I brought out my vampire character and am on a mission to kill all non essential npc in a final farewell to the game. mainly i run around finding people to kill and realize how poor the graphics look in comparison to the vids ive seen of skyrim, and i never noticed the graphics being a problem in oblivion before aside the character faces being generic and the orcs looking like cartoon pig folk

[QUOTE="1noteshort"] its all how the player wants to play it.Juggernaut140

That's a good point, Oblivion is largely a choose your own adventure game.

If by choose your own adventure you mean which quests you do or don't do.

Ive always been a huge RPG fan, so oblivion was alot like crack to me and i cant even begin to guess how many hours i have in it. That being said, I NEVER finished the main quest, i closed a few oblivion gates but that was about it. Instead i did all the guild and side quests as well as shivering and knights. I did these in different ways, at times i would play through all of them as a warrior, then again only using magic, and then i would make a character using only primary skills like marksman, alchemy, acrobatics, sneak and so forth and play an assassin role. once i did this a few times, i made a character and just explored everywhere i could find, and even after playing through all these different characters i still found things i hadnt, I completed all the deadric shrines etc. Ive made about ten characters and took them all to level 40 or higher most to 50. Then when i was getting bored of it, i started a new account and became a vampire right away after leaving the prison and played through all quests aside from the main as a vamp. so yeah, its how you want to play it, and im not even going to guess how many hours i have in. im sure i dont want to know. im now back into it in prep for skyrim and am taking my vampire on a quest to kill every non essential npc in the game, even if they are hiding in a tent in some remote location on the map, id like to see no one left standing when skyrim drops next week
