its not his face...if you watch the trailer, you'll notice that the "eye" is in fact, the reflection of that big circle in the middle of the desert, because it is in the center of his visor when he looks forward...and the "scar" is just the indent detail on his visor...you'll notice it right away...

highly doubtful... Gears was fun for a while, but it got old for me...im still playing halo1 and halo2 multiplayer, there's just a ton more custimizable features in the halo games... Gears didnt even undermine Rainbow6 Vegas for alot of people, how would it do that to halo3?

[QUOTE="teebeenz"][QUOTE="PantsOfFury"] MGS4 currently uses over 25gigs of storage space with 2:1 compression. That aint gunna work so well on a 9gig 360.

That's because the only thing they have in Metal Gear Solid 'games' are cutscenes. Movie sequences = huge files. 25gigs used (which I highly doubt is true to begin with) would probably be filled with 99% of that as cutscenes. Just great, another MGS game where I get to play for 10 minutes then watch 2 hours of movie...

This time around hes using ingame renders. And as we all know, game sizes tend to increase by around 5x with each hardware genenration for consoles which means 5gigs to 25gigs is around right.

Konami has always used in-game graphics in their cut-scenes...ever since PS1... i dont see why they'd make MGS4 any different...

there are some things that the MGS series does a lot better than Splinter cell... and that's storytelling, cinematics (very movie-like), and character... Splinter Cell doesn't give as much importance to each character as MGS... alot of people may prefer SC's gameplay over MGS... but you have to agree that SCs stories are a bit lacking and it doesn't grab you into it's world... i just get tired of seeing people bash on MGS when the games are done very well....solid/original gameplay and compelling storylines(except for MGS2 in the story department)....

[QUOTE="bolt2448"][QUOTE="OmegaDark"]I believe at this point, all the Halo 2 maps should be free to an Xbox Live! Gold Subscriber. I dont really recall any "MUST HAVE" games coming to the 360 this month...unless you're one of those "Gotta Buy Crackdown!" people... I'd suggest you buy the games that interest you, and if you've already beaten it...then buy a game for the replay value.

yea, like i think crackdown sucks HARD, and i hate graw and graw2 and generally all tom clansy games... i dont see anything in the near future that interests me, so I think im gonna get both. anyother opinions?

Guitar Hero 2!...

Halo is too big of a franchise to just throw away...this may be the end for master chief, but maybe Bungie will keep creating games based on the halo universe, outside of master chiefs story...

[QUOTE="ocdog45"]one main reason why rainbow is just an overall better game IMO. gears was so lame after i beat it on insane. rainbow was more of a challenge and i still play it, mad replay value
When I first got GoW I started playing on Hardcore my first time around, then after I finished I started on Insane and the difference wasn't that big (I mean, it was easier the second time because I was used to the controlls) until I got to the final battle with Raam. Then I started playing R6, the first time I finished the game on normal, and then I started again at realistic and I was amazed with the difference. I mean, I just completed act 1 and I'm very impresed with the challenge. What do you people think?gp19

i think it's because gears doesnt have as many multiple pathways as R6...i mean, there's that occasional "left" or "right" path, but it's not enough to play more than twice...

R6 on realistic is much harder than Geow insane... i'm not sure what it is exactly... it might be the lack of cover in a lot of areas, even if you're crouched up behind a wall, enemies can still kill you with one shot on your arm... it can get frustrating...
