Yeah, I agree, there are too many shooters, too little RPG's that you don't wanna bite till it dies.:)

None taken, but yes, and no.
People in every agegroup just died in, like FF9 and chucked the controller off the wall saying, " All right, this **** is getting old, we need summit different." So that's exactly what the production teams gave them, shooting, driving, and of course platforming, leaving RPG's for dead.
Not even appreciating what old-style, rockin'-rollin', scroll-screened, D-pad-walking, menu-scrollin', son-of-a-gunnin', turn-based RPG did, setting foundations for games in every genre. (We all know chocobo races started off driving games ;))

Yeah, I believe Arcade is a bad idea, premium is a much better choice for most players all-round.
I have also seen people buying the core but also seperately buying a large (say about 60 gig) external HD from somewhere like Currys and simply plugged it in through USB cable, etc. Making it also able to e plugged into PC's and all that jazz.

There is one thing wrong with that that I see.
I'm 13, but I still love games like the original final fantasy games which I playednon-stop on my SNES when I was younger. And about the same for a wide variety of others my age. I don't think age is much to do with the matter.
But you are right, old-style RPG is an endangered species, especially things like turn-based. See final fantasy XII, the turn-based is almostout the window with triple and quadtriple attacks. I feel for the turn-based style games.
But Crisis Core, although it has a different styled fighting system still looks like a good game.

But it worked on HD before you went to Korea?
I don't think the country you are in changes anything about that.
Maybe it was damaged when it was shipped, the people there don't care, anyway, they just throw stuff about.
But, to tell you the truth, I have no idea what could actally affect it. Sorry.
You may call me a hypocrite here, damn I call myself a hypocrite.
But don't be like me who spends it all on whatever **** game he sees first, save up the money and buy the good games that have been promised to us next year. (DMC4, etc.)
I think there has only been a few posts in this thread that aren't people arguing over how to say it correctly. ;)

Previously mentioned:
I think that if you changed the switch position on the cable to TV, then configure HD settings, turn off the console, change the switch back to HDTV, then maybe it'll work.
If not try running it on 60Hz to make sure you've got the scart cable in the right one. (Because I have a scart socket that always makes everything black and white.)
Apart from, I don't really know much about HDTV's.
Adam.
