I'll wait for next year's version, I think it's called Anthem?

@MirkoS77 Only problem is Retro isn't making it...
Do we know that for sure? I haven't seen anything either way.
Last time Sony and Microsoft disappointed and cleared the stage for Nintendo to shine, they fell flat on their face.
Nintendo gets a re-do now, though with only 30 minutes I'm not expecting much.
Not disagreeing with you, but they said they'll have announcements during the live Treehouse broadcast also. So it's more like 30 minutes+.
That's good to hear, though people only ever remember the actual E3 presentations, the announcements after never seem to get as much attention. Guess we'll have to wait 12 hours to find out though.
So since Sony didn't have a long list of games without release dates (their MO the last 2 years), does that mean this generation is coming to a close and they're finishing up game development to get ready for a 2019 or 2020 PS5?

Do we know that VC is even coming to the Switch. Have they actually announced it will be on it, or are we just assuming?
Just curious.
@asylumni: You could also say that Apple plans their phones out better and the motherboard has less moving parts so there's less risk of things going wrong, plus with waterproofing it's beneficial to have less overall parts. It costs Apple $5 to assemble an iphone, I hope the Switch isn't that much more.
I hope for Nintendo's sake they got a good deal on manufacturing and parts (no one can beat Apple, they are legendary at it from what I hear, but it still seems like a large gulf between them), but I wouldn't expect such a large margin. I understand the controllers are an additional bit, but I would be shocked if the bill of materials for the pair cost more than the iphone camera does.
Oh well, maybe it's just me being bitter because I was hoping the Switch was going to debut at $250 and be an insta-buy from me.
@j2zon2591 as I mention above, Apple is very good at getting cheaper parts, but the price difference still seems quite large.
Wait why does it cost so much to produce? Isn't the bill of parts for an iPhone7 220ish and manufacturing is $225? Is Nintendo really bad at purchasing? Is Nvidia running up the price?
It's a small, compact system that is pretty complex. There's 3 lithium ion batteries, plus the screen. Each controller has an array of sensors and feedback as well as communication and also must attach securely to the tablet. Then there's the charging system for each battery in the tablet. Plus Nvidia is known for not being cheap with their chips. It adds up.
Apple has the advantage of making their own custom chipsets with a cost-friendly licensing partner and the build is not nearly as complex with multiple parts that have to allow the user to assemble and disassemble.
No camera or radio means that the iphone would be even less, no ($170?)? So you're saying $3.00 for more batteries, a lower res screen (so likely cheaper or the same price as the iphone), a little more ran, sensors that literally cost dimes and nickles, plus some kind of charging system that likely didn't cost much makes up that almost $90 difference?
Nvidia must have really screwed them with the processor price or Nintendo got some really bad deals compared to what Apple gets.
