I haven't played it in years but I think you need to change time to go back to present. Then you find another alter to change back to past and you will be able to get to the hourglass chamber. I could be wrong though

You mention EA store. DO NOT USE IT! They give you the rights to play the game for a year, then you have to pay extra to get an entire 5 years.

That's re-download for a year not play. You can play it for as long as you want, just make sure you backup the downloaded game so you don't have to pay later incase you switch to a different pc, reformat or uninstall the game

The gameplay is extremely dumbed down. Everything is automatic, so you rarely ever fall. Also you don't fight that much and when you do they are very easy (zero chance of dying).

Also the game consist of core gameplay that is pretty much found in all recent ubisoft games i.e. One gameplay mechanic is repeated through out the entire game. In this game for example, all you do is collect orbs, thats it. There is no other objective. This makes for an extremely repetitive game. If you really want to play it, wait for it come down to 20 or so bucks. As it is, its not worth the money.

Don't waste your money on a half life 2 cd key. Buy orange box on steam for 30 bucks it includes both episodes as well as Portal and Team Fortress 2
