Like an ODST AC style open world(s).. i can dig it. kinda reminds me of a less linear metro 2033. (mainly with the stealth thing going on haha)

Im totally picking this up today and im stoked.

I started feeling this way in april. then L.a noire came out, loved it and beat it. then in june went back to being uninterested!!!

I usually get this way in the summer though cause theres barely any games coming out, and no sports on so im usually doing other stuff. but once fall hits im usually back to gaming.

But today i have a feeling ill be out of my slumop when i go get Deus Ex: HR and maybe pick up a cheap copy of FarCry2(never played) :D

I have a major thing about FarCry 2 being massively underrated. if you try and play it like a normal shooter, it's terrible. If you actually pay close attention to what you're told in-game (like 'wait till it gets dark before you attack'), do the side missions, and really start looking at the different combinations of weapons and how they work together, and how you can approach each mission, it comes up to a whole new level. I also thoroughly enjoyed the thoroughly original plot, real-world settings, lack of cliche, realistic dialogue and just... everything. Just everything about that game felt.... grown up, like it wasn't aimed at 12yo american males. Probably why it tanked in the sales charts. Also: seconded for the entire Red Faction series being underrated. (even if armageddon wasn't quite as good as it couldn't have been, still good).dicelord

Ive been thinking about picking this up when i go get Deus ex today.... but some people were saying to not get it and get something else... hmmm

get Bioshock. or Vanquish (dunno if it's cheap). or Nier (reviews are negative, but player opinions are largely positive. forreal). probably Singularity is cheap by now, so is Valkyriq Chronicles (highly recommend). Darksiders is cheap now, too i guess. i'd rather get Saints Row 2 or Just Cause 2 than Fay Cry 2.

Have Bioshock and love it! Ive heard a lot about Nier..

I may pick up singularity though... rented and played half and actually liked it. I may pick up both singularity and Resistance 2 cause I am going to pick up R3.

One more question Whats the deal on the Yakuza series???? Are they worth a playthrough.. never heard of them until last month (got my PS3 in April..)

Could i start on 4? or would it be better to play 3 first??

Ah, getting sloshed behind the controller... how I miss thee... My favorite drinking (video)game is definately Left 4 Dead... 4 Shots. The rules of L4D4S are as follows: Grabbed by a hunter? Take a shot. Splashed by a boomer? Take a shot. Rocked(as in 'hit by a flying-') by a tank? Take a shot. Incapped? That's a shot, too. From incapped to dead is another shot, however, if you go straight from on your feet to dead(I.E. thrown off a building, or killed after your 2nd incap), that's two shots. As is dangling. Because 99% of the time, it's your own fault, and it gets annoying. If you're playing L4D24S, add getting Jockeyed to the list of 1 shot offenses.El_Zo1212o

Deus Ex, Dead Island, Gears of War 3, Resistance 3, RAGE, NBA2k12, Arkham city, BF3, MW3, AC:R, skyrim (hated oblivion but im going to play this game at some point cause my friends are).

waste of a download. i'm still waiting for a brink demo (that's the type of game that really should have a demo.. could be good, but i wanted to try it first.. unfortunatly for them i will be passing on it now with other games i know i want upcoming)

for gods sake i deff agree. what the F**k is the deal?????? Brink is one id liek to demo too. Instead we get crap demo's. At least Dead Space 2 (as if it even needed one to begin with) and Bullet storm had one.
