First of all look at all the games that the Wii got this year...
No more Heroes
Medal of Honor Heroes 2
Call of Duty World at War
and there is already No more Heroes 2 being made and the actual Zelda game for the Wii since the twilight princess was just a Wii version of the Original one
And to get to the point here...
http://www.wiisworld.com/wii-news/reggie-talks-mmorpg.html
this is where reggie is saying that nintendo aint making mmorpgs cause they dont have any in mind but they hope that third parties would start making some^^
But really... i would be happy with only a 2d mmorpg on the Wii as long as it works smoothly :P
I might suggest playing "final fantasy crystal chronicles: Rings of fate" cause that game has quite a good story to it from my side and even if you don't like the story (which is almost impossible cause it gets you hooked quite an easy way) you can stil play mulitplayer alone cause there you can make your own character and give him all kinds of new equipment and you will even see it and since there are tons of different equipments for body armor/ head armor and weapons that you can use well... you are gonna be free to like what you want you can get knight outfits or samurai or dragoon or dragon or dragon lord armors and so on but there are also armors that are quite funny ike the sailor or pirate or frog or cat armor sooooooo yeah your free too look like what you want^^ oh and i might add with high lvl characters you get some pretty good skills cause the selkies with there bows learn the 5 way shot with lvl 60 or 70 something (I am lvl 72 and havn't played my selkies for quite some time) and after you finish all dungeons on easy you can play em on hard and after that on very hard the same goes for the story mode after you finish it you can start the game from the beginning on hard mode with the same lvl and equipment the characters had after you finished the game
oh and before i forget it... the mulitplayer mode also has a quest mode you just have to talk to the king in town and he will give you some quests for 1-4 players and some that are only for 2-4 players (so here you are gonna need at least one friend if you wanna play the 2-4 players quests)
But the game is prety good i might add but i do have to say i finished the story mode within 8 or 9 hours on normal and on hard... well i am kinda stuck there at the first lvl but thats a different story why (most of all because i forgot to get some equipment for my character on the easy mode so now i have like no defence ^^)
but if you like lvling up than you are gonna be having a good time doing it in this game (atleast i have been playing it for the last 2 weeks^^)
