Why do Gamespot persist in doing these stupid comparisons? One can only assume that they get some kind of sick amusement out of watching the fanboys (pc, 360 and ps3 alike) flame each other.

A part of me always wonders if you guys who mindlessly abuse the other console are just doing so because you feel like you made the wrong decision and you don't want anyone to realise. Still at least it's not as bad as console vs PC wars, now that's really sad because again they are both great options and serve different purposes. Both are great consoles, the differences are minor and some favor one system, some the other. For me the only thing between them and the reason I chose X360 is the exclusive games, at the time I bought the 360 simply had more that appealed to me. Of course right after I made my choice MGS4 and a little later LBP came out so now I might have to buy the PS3 too. I also have the Wii and lets all remember that despite having the weakest graphics by far it's the biggest seller. Part of that is price but a big part of it is also fun factor. Wii games are fun and often interesting and different, see Okami, No more heroes and Mad World as cases in point.

Most gamers said they played for one hour or less at a time. This means they are not gamers, they are people who play games occasionally. This is like saying you are a dancer because you go out and dance at a club once every few months or an actor because you once did a bit part in a school play. An interesting article nevertheless.
