Looks entertaining to me! I feel like the guy was riding around and not shooting as much when he got on the coaster though.

XBox One is where it's at! No seriously, Halo MC Collection wins 2014 in my book. Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, Project Spark, Fantasia, Dance Central, Shape Up, etc are all icing on the cake.

Quantum Break looks amazing too.

And not to mention some kinect games (yes, i like to kinect!) like dance central, shape up and fantasia.. or multiplats liek AC Unity, Destiny, and the new COD.. all before years end.

Played it and beat it on the hardest available difficulty.. had a blast! I'm going to play through the campaign again now that the legendary difficulty is available. The multiplayer is fun too with different goals to achieve whilst fighting off droves of enemies.

I don't know what the reviewer was expecting as Ryse never tried to hide what it was. It isn't open world (though there are occasional areas off the beaten path to explore). It's also a slasher but it flows effortlessly and all animations are responsive and fluid.

The difficulty doesn't come from pulling off the executions but from memorizing what move is coming next and timing it as best as you can to maximize your reward (much needed at times when outnumbered and taking damage).

It will be hit or miss with people but I'd recommend giving it a try for yourself.

Perhaps if you played on a higher difficulty you would have more than two people attacking you as you show in the review... I've had upwards of 10 at one time in hand to hand combat. I'm on the last level and have had a great time with it. Not a 9 by any means but not nearly as bad as this 4 review leads you to believe. I'd say a 7 would be fair as it starts out a little slow

Oh and i find it hard to believe this guy had all the combo's memorized within an hour. He might have watched for the colors to light up but to truly maximize your points you have to anticipate what the next hit is.

Isn't it free to play initially and you get everything else for less than retail game price?

Wow, slanted article much?? What does he want to learn, that the game actually focuses on planting flowers and picking apples from the orchard? And don't most games have some sort of attacking theme (e.g. jumping on heads in Mario or shooting people in KZ) to progress through said games?
