Personally, I liked Condemned 2 way more than the original. Obviously, you'll appreciate the second one more if you played the original. They answer a lot of the unanswered questions in the original. Plus, when they brought back the killer from the original all disfigured, and he helped you out, I thought that was great. Either way, the fighting mechanics, detective tools, and storyline were much better in Condemned 2. I give it an A+. It still had that creepy vibe and people jumping out of dark corners trying to kill you, but it expanded on all the aspects that needed help. I can't wait for the next...

I'm not sure what timezone they're going by. I would say, Eastern Standard. So, Central would be 1AM.

For me,

1. Grand Theft Auto IV

2. Call of Duty 4

3. Halo 3

Although, They have a tendency to change frequently. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Gears of War are also quite good.

That's a hard one. I would say, if you haven't had any problems thus far, just get the games and Xbox Live. I mean, you could buy a new one and have it fail within a couple of months. The first Xbox I bought, this was about 3 months after launch, is still going strong. The newer one, that I bought in mid 07, died 3 months after I bought it. It got the RRoD and Microsoft replaced it. Now, even though that's what happened to me, I've heard others say the exact opposite happened to them. It's basically a game of hit or miss. I've heard, regardless of the model, the problem stems from Microsoft having to use lead-free solder. I'm not sure how true that is, I saw it in a forum.

First off $50 bucks a year is expensive considering the fact that every other provider gives all the stuff that Live offers for the low low price of nothing at all. Now don't get me wrong we pay $50 bucks a year for all those servers that people game on, oh right there are no servers we game on since people in every game have to host their own matches. I mean when you look at it that way paying $50more than everyone else is such a great deal. Considering that do you actually know what that $50 bucks goes towards? Managing servers that holds information about peoples Xbox Live Gamercards. I don't give a **** about my gamercard so do I have to pay $50 a year to maintain that piece of ****

Also thats the reason why I don't play MMO's I don't want to have to play another $15 or whatever they charge month to play a game.

Personally, I think Xbox offers the best online service and the most content out of the next-gen consoles. So, I don't mind paying it, but I see what you're saying. It would be nice to get it for free like Sony, and a price cut is never a bad thing. I'm invested in gaming, so for me it's a no-brainer, I'll pay the $50 for the service, but I could see how a casual gamer might not go for it.

4. Revise Xbox Live payment plan. Instead of paying a flat fee of $50 for a year, why not just charge us by game? So a year-long subscription to Team Fortress 2 would cost like $5/year or something. That way we only pay for the servers we are actually going to use. They could charge a smaller yearly fee for obvious upgrade and maintance, but I'm talking like $10/year. Miniscule compared to $50. I believe MS would make about the same going this route, maybe even more, because more people would probably use it. Those who are reluctant to spend $50 for the year would be much more likely to get an Next Xbox and get Live for $10. since they may be turned off from playing $50 to pay for the 1 or 2 games they actually play online. Plus, fewer PS3 fanboys would be crying about the XBL fee. It could even out in the end, depending how many games you play on-line. Just a thought.

That is a stupid idea honestly. Think about how many games you get a year? Now add what your saying an extra $5-$10 to each game to play it on live for a year. Now ask your self when you a buy a game do you honestly play it for a year straight? No chances are (at least I know for me) you'll prob play for maybe as little as 3 months and as much as 9 months and then move on. You'll in the end just be wasting money and spending way to much money just for online gaming. Considering your method of charging people $50 a year is cheap.

What really needs to be done is reduce the price of Live. Instead of $50 year I think a more reasonable price will be $35. That way it works best for gamers and M$ they will still make massive amounts of profit and also reel in more people with the cheaper price tag.

I don't understand why people think that $50 dollars for 1 year of Xbox Live is so expensive. World of WarCraft costs $15 per month, and that's for 1 game. Xbox Live breaks down to $4.17 per month to play every Xbox 360 game online. That's cheap. At WoW's rate it would be $180 for 1 year. Just think about that.

I bought it, but it's definitely at least worth renting. In my opinion, if you played the first one, you'll really enjoy it. Alot of characters return in the second, and they greatly expand on the story. Even if you haven't played the first game, it will still be enjoyable. It's pretty long, has replay value, crime scene investigation is great, fighting controls are responsive and easy to learn, and finding creative ways to kill your enemies with a huge array of weapons and environments is very satisfying.
