Man, after Condemned 2 sucked so badly, I was hoping they'd let the series die! Condemned was all about the hard, visceral up front combat, and suspense soaked atmosphere. Condemned two started off well, then halfway through the game suddenly decided to give you some dumb shouting power, and basically forced the player to use guns.

Halfway through? You only had this power in the last "mission." And you were never forced to use guns, You can easily take down enemies without the use of guns, and I did many times...though the occasional gun or two was quite fun considering you usually only had one clip. In my opinion, it was an amazing game.
Personally, I liked Condemned 2 way more than the original. Obviously, you'll appreciate the second one more if you played the original. They answer a lot of the unanswered questions in the original. Plus, when they brought back the killer from the original all disfigured, and he helped you out, I thought that was great. Either way, the fighting mechanics, detective tools, and storyline were much better in Condemned 2. I give it an A+. It still had that creepy vibe and people jumping out of dark corners trying to kill you, but it expanded on all the aspects that needed help. I can't wait for the next...

I agree, however I can honestly admit that I didn't play the first. But I really enjoyed the second, and loved how it was actually SCARY unlike these other games that fail at it. I admit I jumped plenty of times while playing this game, it makes it loads better playing in the dark :P
No source. Not even a mention of how you would know it without a source. Absolutely no proof whatesoever. This is bogus. However I do hope they make a Condemned 3, but i would guess at more a holiday of 2010 release but who knows
Can I just ask..how come you picked up #2 without playing the first, I'm just curious nothing wrong with it, just interested? anyway I think with the way 2 ended there will likely be a third, and I personally can't wait :D, As for the 1 vs 2 talk, I think #1 was AMAZING my fave game on the 360 so far, 2 the story was amazing yet I got bored of punching a guy a million times, turning around, and punching another guy a million time :( but loved the story and can't wait for it to reach its climax, hopefully 3 will be the last, just to end it...
Uhhh, learn to spell before you start insulting people who don't like the game. People have different taste in games, not everyone needs to like what you like.
I actually enjoyed Condemned 2 by a lot. It was pretty freaky to, and also fun, i especially love the new Ethan Thomas character in that one. I hope condemned 3 comes out pretty soon.

i already have the playstation 25. i time traveled to the future to buy it using only my microwave and some free time. Hahaha condemned 3 probably will come out within the next few years but you shouldn't just say that it will without even an announcment from sega that it is being made.
I have no clue what you people are talking about, but Condemned 2 was an awesome game. They've done a great job with this series so far, can't wait to see where they take the story next. Condemned 3 could very well be the horror game of the year when it's released, as this is already one of the best horror series ever.
I picked up the first Condemned for about £5 a couple of weeks ago. I thought the atmosphere was done very well but the combat seemed pretty dull and unsatisfying; beating guys over the head with pipes and stuff is fun for a while, but every level is pretty much the same. Needless to say I won't be picking up Condemned 3 if/when it's released.
Um, thanks for the info....anyways if Condemned 3 does come out in 2011, I am buying it for sure. Condemned 1 was fun, and Condemned 2 was awesome, so Condemned 3 should be EPIC!
It started out pretty cool but I think they tried way too hard and ended up over-doing it. Condemned: Criminal Origins was much better in building suspense.
