I've unfortunately been affected by this error. I pre-ordered the game, which was originally coming out last Tuesday but then this whole "Demo Disc" fiasco happened and to this point I still haven't gotten the game. I've talked to my local EB Games store and they said it should be out by tomorrow or the end of the week. I hope. By the way, as I'm from Canada, the problem has also affected here as well.

@Vari3ty Pretty sure that's a typo; IGN still has a release date of Oct. 30, and I didn't get any calls from EB Games regarding this "change" of date of my pre-order. As such it should still be out on Oct. 30.

@CosmicJosh The split screen was better than the original layout, as one person who tried to go one way was prevented from doing so while the other goes the other way.

@Gobiman I think it'll cost 800 points.

'08 for sure has the better graphics, 2K8 is crap with graphics, but I believe the Bigs had some good graphics: Griffey Jr., Ortiz, A-Rod and Jeter as well as Ichiro are good examples.
