I used the M1 sometimes just because I liked the sound it made. :D

Too bad they took that out of the later COD's. :(

Definately the Kar98k and Mosin Nagant (bolt actions). Almost always1 hit kill weapons, yet versatile enough to be used in close quarters to long range. I decided to take up using the regular bolt actions after seeing the negative attitude many held towards snipers, who seemed to plague the game. I have to admit, it was rather satisfying to own snipers on Stalingrad (or whatever the name of the one with the railway station) with my simple bolt action no scope rifle. To put it simply, it made me feel 1337 :p

Here's to the good ol' days when CoD2 was the MP king on the block. Back when there was only a handful of really good online games for the 360. Now there's so many I can hardly keep up :(. CoD2 gave me some goooood memories, and I made a lot of my first friends on XBL there. Get CoD2, the game is well worth it, just for the excellent Campaign. There's bound to still be some people playing online as well. CoD3 didn't impress me at all. I honestly wouldn't shed a tear if the game just disappeared from existence. I guess it just wasn't my taste, because some people seem to really like it. Everyone is different. I would say your best bet would be to go on YouTube, watch some of the gameplay from both, and read some reviews. My advice: If it's cheap enough, buy both, but if you have to choose one, get CoD2.
