Seeing a lot of people amazed that the game got a 6, but they are having so much fun with it!?! How can that be? Its got to be an 8 at minimum?!

I have played a lot of games that, in my personal review, I would give no more than a 7 - but I absolutely enjoyed playing them.

I feel that some people 'artificially inflate' the scores that they give games based on how much fun they had, which doesn't help anyone.

If the game deserves a 6, it gets a 6 - it doesn't mean that the game is not fun

It's almost like the effect of nostalgia goggles on old games

@analogjunkie24 I don't think that is strictly true - I have pre-ordered a number of games and have immensly enjoyed them

Rather, I would say that people really need to do more research before they pre-order a game - I feel a lot of people pre-ordered Destiny because it was Bungie

@moonlightwolf01 yeah, I must admit I fell for the watch dogs hype and whilst the gameplay was solid, the story sucked and there was almost TOO much pointless side stuff.

The amount of publicity Destiny got was crazy. Think back to GTA V - how much marketing was there?

@billzihang exactly the point. If the people here stopped to think about it, because every person is playing as Arno, the feature wouldn't be "I want to play as a female assassin", it would be "I want other people to SEE me as a female assassin".

So the people who want to play as a female wouldn't even get to experience it.

On top of that, they would have to make it so that all aesthetic customization options fit the Arno model and the female model simultaneously from 4 people's perspectives at the same time.

Looking at this issue like it is, I can understand why they said that it would be too much work - the problem was that they did not specify WHY it was too much work until later.

Anyone else having problems downloading this with the season pass on Xbox 360? Seems to be a common problem
