Hey guys, I have slowly been working my way away from PC gaming, and recently I refunded 2 games on steam for a total of 49.98 in my Steam Wallet. I'm hoping to find someone who would be willing to trade me Microsoft Credit so I can purchase a lesser or equal game on my Xbox One in exchange for a 50 dollar or lesser game gifted to you via Steam. We could do it over Discord or whatever for more security.

I've seen similar threads to this in the past on the Gamespot forums throughout the years but not recently so mods, if this is not allowed please lock. Otherwise, just let me know here if any of you are interested. Thanks!

Hey, the other day I ordered an Xbox One S and I already subscribe to game pass for my pc, and I'm just curious how long games stay on the service? The reason I ask is I've read it's like Netflix where things phase out over time. Do some games stay permanently? Are some only for a weekend? Is there an official length of time a game will stay on it?

Any help you guys can give would be great, although it won't diminish my happiness with the purchase as I'm a pretty big fan of Netflix as it is, plus I will be purchasing physical games through the time I have the console anyway. This is just more a curiosity. Thanks!

My parents had an NES when I was born in '88, I started playing on it late '89/'90 according to them. After that I continuously got new consoles as they came out. Genesis, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, n64, PS1, Dreamcast, PS2, GC, Xbox, DS. I think it was around 2001-2002 when my parents bought me a dell PC with a 9700 pro and I started playing games such as Counter Strike and BF1942. I took a break from the PC until WoW came out, which I have played for 14 years on and off. I have primarily been a PC gamer since that time although I owned a 360, Wii, Wii U. None ever hooked me a ton so I continued on PC mostly. Now I've owned an Xbox One Elite which I sold to upgrade my PC a few years ago, and since that happened I've upgraded even further to a 1080ti.

I own a PS4 now, which I bought a month ago and I use that along with my PC for my gaming needs. Unfortunately my sister who lives in another state kept all the old consoles we had as kids when I moved away. Watching gaming evolve from NES/Genesis/SNES days has been quite astonishing I must say, however I do miss uniqueness and retro feel of those days. My fondest memories are from the old consoles. Seems for the past few years nothing grabs me like the games did on older consoles. I anticipate gaming until I die and I can't wait to see what gaming is 20 years from now.

I've bought Gears 4, Forza Horizon 3, Killer Instinct and DLC, Forza 7, used the Game Pass to try SoD2 and SoT, and have pre-ordered Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate. Not once have I had any issues with the store or UWP, and will continue to buy games if they interest me. I don't understand what all the hate for it is about. It works fine.

Yakuza is coming to PC now in case you didn't know.

I highly recommend The Last Guardian for something unique

Ya I saw that on the Steam upcoming list, but I wanted to get them on the console now just to spread my gaming time across two systems a bit more as I'm already heavily dedicated to quite a few PC games.

My best friend from high school played through Persona 5 not too long ago and raved about it. I honestly forgot about it until you guys mentioned it. I'll add that to the list to get at some point. I'm not too worried about multiplayer games as I have plenty I play frequently on PC. Also the Infamous games are good recommendations as they piqued my interest when they came out but I didn't own the console. Also, @Ant_17 I did not know there was a third Yakuza game so I will definitely get that too.

....and it's a PS4! Had a 360 and Wii/Wii U last gen, skipped the PS3 entirely due to the exclusives not appealing to me. However, now, shipping soon is a PS4 slim 1tb along with MLB the Show 18, Horizon Complete, and God of War. I plan on getting the 2 Kingdom Hearts games out now, along with 3 when it releases as well as Ratchet and Clank, Crash Bandicoot and the 2 Yakuza games.

Am I missing anything really groundbreaking for someone who primarily plays on PC, and has no interest the Uncharted series, or games like The Last Guardian?

Just exclusives recommendations please as all multiplats will be purchased on PC (excluding horrible port jobs)

Thanks!

I personally love Ubisoft and their conference, along with Microsoft's were the most exciting for me. Microsoft's was exciting because I'm a PC gamer but have the Xbox Game Pass and am looking forward to playing their future games on my PC. Ubisoft's show for the games that are on PC as well looked great, plus I've really enjoyed their games for years now. I'll admit they were in a bad place a few years ago but IMO they've made a huge comeback.

On a side note, really looking forward to break into console gaming with a PS4 this year so I can get my Xbox games on PC and have the Sony exclusives that interest me. As for the Activision being bad thing, I think they've done some harm to Blizzard, but nothing too bad. Depending on how Blops 4 is and how they handle the Destiny 2 expansion this fall will determine if they're still shit in my eyes. I like Destiny 2 a lot and Forsaken looks to add a lot to the table.

EA is pretty meh, I'll admit that but they did do one good thing this e3, and that's Madden 19 on PC. Once I get that PS4 I'll have all my sports games. NBA 2k and Madden on PC, and MLB The Show on PS4.
