[QUOTE="superclocked"]The CPU clock speed only increases when it needs the extra speed, so it won't draw as much electricity while extending the chip life at the same time.. And overclocking the GPU will be simple. Most people use eVGA Precision X or MSI Afterburner. NEVER use more than one program to alter the voltage or clock speed, though. The settings can sometimes stack, and you can damage your card. Don't listen to people who say otherwise. And I always recommend forcing the GPU fan to run at 100%...

so i shouldnt have any problem overclocking because of my locked CPU? I Will be using this Asus GPU tweak software, that good enough? Why fans at 100% all the time?

So this is my computer that has come, if i do decide to overclock the GPU, how far should i take it due to my CPU not being overclockable? The 760 card came with nice overclocking software, making me think i may want to do it.

And also, could anyone explain how this CPU *Boost* Software works? Thanks

The GTX 760 is quite a power house for the price, but is only mid range.

I would say 2 years tops before you are struggling, but this all depends on next gen games.

Struggle how bad? Think Medium+ on 1080p for upto 5 years? or am i dreaming?

I'm not really a big fan of mini ATX motherboards, especially since you can get an ATX Z87 asus board/mid tower case for the same price as the mini setup but actually get SLI support (which helps since you mentioned you wanted this sytem to last awhile).

Yeah but the small form factor suits my needs better, plus it is much nicer to have in my flat than a big block, prodigy looks quite smart.

2-3 years for maxing out games I reckon but there is no reason why you can't use that setup in 6-7 years time. I'm still using my setup from 2007.7MZ000
Thanks this is what i was looking for, 6-7 years would justify the price.

This would be my best bet, £4 over but delivery is decent since its all from the same place, and CPU, Motherboard & GPU are much better than in yours

Only downside is 4GB, but when everything else is cheap too, dont think 4GB RAM would stick out too much.

If it were me i'd stretch to budget to £450 to improve the Case, PSU and Ram though.

I did look into the 770, however the jump in price difference from the 760 to 770 seemingly didn't match the performance increase for the card. Aslong as i can play the most uptodate games on atleast medium i'd be happy.

Title says it all really, The Specs;

(I will not be overclocking)

BitFenix Podigy Mini ITX Case (230mm Intake, 2 x 120mm Outtake Fans)

Asus Z87 I Pro Motherboard Mini ITX

Intel Core i5 4670 S1150

Noctua NH-L9i LP INTEL Cooler

8GB 2x4GB CORSAIR VENGENCE RAM 1866

630W BeQuiet BN182 PurePowerL8

240GB SamSung 840 SSD

MS Windows 8 64bit OEM

GTX 760 Asus OC CUII Edition

Im looking to see how long you guys think this will be fine to play the most uptodate games on medium+ graphics options.

Thanks,
