@FLOPPAGE_50: And Fallout 4 hit single digit fps at points on the Xbox One. In fact it had a full second or two that it reached 0 fps at times. The PS4 generally performs or looks better than the Xbox One when it comes to multiplatform games. Or both. Power is obviously only one aspect of the system though. That being said, the idea that if one console has issues with a game at some point then both consoles are equally bad because they're both not perfect is pretty much ridiculous. It's a nirvana fallacy to be exact. The PS4 still performs better than the Xbox One. That doesn't mean it's better, but it is an advantage. I'm over the "parity" nonsense. Pointing out weaknesses and strengths of consoles doesn't make you a fanboy. It makes you an informed consumer. Attempting to apply objective reasoning to subjective beliefs, on the other hand, makes you a fanboy.

@the-a-baum: I'm pretty sure very few people honestly believe this AI was being "smart" with anything it said. It learns how to talk like a person through interaction. Unfortunately, the internet is not a great way to learn through interaction. I do find the irony of the situation humorous though. Because it is. No idea how you can't find it funny. It is. The situation stops at irony obviously. I don't think an AI choosing the PS4 means much. Anyone with common sense would state the same.

@the-a-baum: Did you even read the article? It just stated what happened. I'm sure they'd report it if Sony did the same. It's meant to be humorous, and it indeed is humorous if you can step out of your fanboy insult bubble for a second and enjoy irony from time to time. This was a bad idea, and Microsoft should've known better than to release this on a platform as popular as Twitter without first testing it with a typical teenage audience.

@Keitha313: This isn't practical for anyone who has a family. You can't just strap on a headset and shut them out for hours. It's a cool idea, but the reality of the situation makes it completely useless to millions of gamers.

@sampson3121: I'd wear 3D glasses LONG before I'd wear an entire headset that covers my eyes. I can't shut out reality for hours at a time unless I'm sleeping. I have a family. VR is literally useless to me. And that is very much a valid complaint. Now I'm not upset that other people can use it and enjoy it, but I think this also shuts out reality too much overall. I think it'll be a turn off to most gamers because of that. Most of us aren't single and teenagers.

@kee1haul: Through a PC sure. But honestly I'm not overly interested in either option. I'm not very excited about VR in general. Sure, it'll open up new gameplay possibilities, but I have a wife and kids. I can't just strap on a headset and ignore them for hours. VR limits your entire sensory experience which makes it a complete no go for me.

@bobafetthatesu: First of all, projection is a pretty terrible way to game. Second, 4K screens are completely pointless for consoles. Third, you're probably lying anyway. Fourth, the virtual screen has absolutely NOTHING to do with anything you just mentioned. Just stop talking. You're embarrassing yourself.

@pspearman: At the end of the day, even if the PS4 had no competition it would still be competing for a larger userbase. Just because you're the only game in town, doesn't mean people want that game. Besides, somebody will replace Microsoft if they leave the market. Someone always does. But I agree with Thanatos2k in that 2 consoles seem to be more healthy than 3 for the market overall. That being said, Nintendo isn't really competing in the same market anymore. If Nintendo is smart, they'll go back to children and families. It's what they do best, and the core gaming market isn't going to run back to Mario as their franchise of choice. The game market has matured. Nintendo has not. That's fine. Nintendo knows their base, but they need to stop going after a base that they can never appeal to. So three consoles is fine, but Nintendo isn't really competition in that scenario either. They get more competition from mobile devices than Sony and Microsoft.
