I want to buy FIFA 13 and Top Spin 4 for the Xbox 360 second-hand. I'm wondering if I can play online with these games. The seller doesn't know if an unused online code is necessary or if you can just play online with them on any console.

Would be glad to hear an answer!

  • Spore: zero depth, dumbed down casual gameplay.
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl: GameCube graphics, GameCube controls, online play is limited to random join and friend codes, Subspace Emissary is boring and repetitive
  • Far Cry 2: great graphics/combat mechanics, but extremely repetitive objectives.
  • Prince of Persia: charming game, but ridiculously easy, and it basically plays itself. All you have to do is press A every 3 seconds.
  • Red Alert 3: Worse than Tiberium Wars in all respects, especially the dated graphics and glitches.
  • STALKER: Clear Sky: The first STALKER was a promising game, so I thought the sequel would fix most problems, but I was wrong.
  • The absence of good (hardcore) Wii games
  • No PS3 price drop
  • StarCraft 2 AND Empire Total War delayed

Too responsive? Try turning the sensitivity down...

The Riddick health system is underrated and should be used more frequently. It works like this: you have a certain amount of health bars, and if one health bar is partially depleted, it will regenerate after combat. However, if it is fully depleted, it will remain that way until you use a medkit. It's a bit of a mix between both systems, and it's really exciting to try and do a battle without losing a full bar.

Sheesh, that's lame. I don't have to pay twice to play store-bought games on multiple accounts either, so why would I have to pay twice to get Live for multiple accounts? Guess I'll just let my brother play unranked matches then. :(

I share my Xbox 360 with my brother. I currently have a one-month subscription on my account, however, my brother and me both want to play Soul Calibur IV online. Since your winning percentage and experience level are saved after each fight, I don't want my statistics to be affected by my brother's online games. Is there a way to enable Xbox Live for multiple accounts and let him play with his own Gamertag?

Neither. Mario Kart and GTA are the most overrated series ever. Mario Kart can't legitimately be called a racing game; you don't even see how fast you drive, there is zero skill involved, it all just depends on which items you get and knowing the surprises of each stage. It can be fun to occasionally play with friends, but I don't see it as a serious game that I'm going to pay 50 euros for.

As for GTA, I played San Andreas, and I can enjoy driving through the city and trumping some random pedestrians, but that gets boring after 15 minutes. The missions suck, they're nothing more than cutscenes of some idiotic "gangsta" stereotypes and extremely shallow gameplay. I'm not even thinking about buying GTA4.

Valve has improved so much since Half Life 2. They've been doing a lot more with their Source engine like remaking their old games like Counter Strike and Day of Defeat and making new IPs like Portal. Valve's Steam service has been doing great over the past year or so. Valve's new and improved.

Valve's done nothing new since Half-Life 2 except Portal, which has two hours of gameplay. HL2 episodes are merely "more of the same", and I dare say that episode one was worse than the original.

Aside from the unsurpassed 1998, of course, 2007 was the best year in gaming ever, and we can only guess if 2008 will surpass it. It is still unknown if Starcraft 2, Red Alert 3, Banjo Kazooie 3, Fable 2, or Disaster: Day of Crisis will be released this year or in 2009.
