Everytime a new version of a game is released with better graphics, mixed up multiplayer or just "a whole new game mechanic" it always leaves me thinking, 'Really? Yet another one? Couldn't have taken the risk of creating something new and possible much more interesting?' I have this especially with games that are being released every year, not to mention all of the DLC that is being sold for way too much money. You can name those yourself.

But for Halo it doesn't work that way - well, at first when it's announced I feel that way, but a month later that feeling is gone. I feel the creators and community of the Halo-universe spend so much time on providing more information about basically everything concerning that certain universe that all they're doing through the process of creating a game is add more information to that universe. I find every release of Halo, whether it is a game, a book, a movie or a live-action shorts justifiable because it's simply another way of providing more information.

And now I'm just putting the fact that the singleplayer is worth 300+ hours and the multiplayer is priceless aside.

@damo320 If I'd have to be very honest, the artwork will never annoy me. It looks amazing in my opinion and just looking at that xbox it makes me horny as shit.

I guess you are right about the controller commands. Regardless, I use the controller often enough to give commands to my xbox, so I guess I'll still be annoyed. Not sure, but I think I will.

Regardless. I'll buy a regular or combo pack for Halo 4.. Not a limited edition. I feel it is too expensive. :P

The LED's will start to annoy you very quickly. Just like the custom Halo sounds when you open/close or turn off the xbox. Don't think I'll buy this one.

@Therimight I agree with you that completely draining the shield is a little excessive, however, I did not mean to imply this. What I meant was, the longer a player uses forerunner vision, the higher the penalty is. Let's say half way is the maximum the shield can be drained to. The player would still be able to take 2 full hits of a battle rifle.

Forerunner vision needs a giant penalty. Something justifiable like it taking up so much power it drains your shield to zero or something. That would mean using it will make you supervulnurable to grenades and melee.

@NEStosterOWN GameSpot obviously is not for trolling. Get flagged, banned, whatever, no one cares. Just keep that useless stuff to yourself.

@Shika_Stoner, Afaik the Sangheili and Ungoy in all the past Halo's were part of a pact called the Covenant. Their leaders were the Prophets at High Charity. These Sangheili and Ungoy may not be part of that same Covenant. That's what I read at least. They're part of a different movement, maybe a different Prophet. One that hasn't seen Humans before and declares war to it as well because of, like you said, "offensive to their religion". @bigcrusha, I have also been a pretty hard core Halo fan ever since I got my hands on the game but I did experience all the abilities in Halo Reach to be a nuisance except for Sprint. Armor Lock in my opinion was incredibly OP. Also, I would call Halo 3 the best online multiplayer. Halo 2 was good, but Halo 3 was my sweet little baby. I hyped Halo 4 like mad before all this news came out. The images looked amazing but now, with all the changes, I'm not so hyped anymore. I'm stoked still, but it can also turn out to be a Halo I may not enjoy. We will just have to wait and see what happens. Either way, I'm buying the game and I will play it regardless of what critics will say.

Again, the show off between games. Seeing the repetition in arguments is quite tiring. Yes they are comparable. MEDzZ3RO provided an excellent example of how -if he pleases- he could compare a bike with a car. Fundamentally they are the same thing (transport), for ease it's been put in a box so it's easily recognizable. So are shooters -see how this is also a box?-. They all share the same basic principles and therefore are able to be compared to one another. The better game does not exist. Only the game you enjoy more.

I feel old watching this and reading the comments. I see people who's first game was GTA3, where'd did the monster of all GTA's go? I used to play just Grand Theft Auto.
