Yeah.... its pretty expensive and everybody always complains about how you have to constantly upgrade computers and how you dont have to upgrade consoles. If you want to buy something at a set price and upgrade as time goes on to make it "better" buy a pc.

Um define a few years? If its something like Quake 4 or Fear then um no you cant. I dont care if its running at 2056x2056 resolution at 300 fps the game simply doesnt have the base assets ( textures, geomerty, lighting, animations) to look better then current console titles. Herimts seem to be vastly confused between asset quality and image quality.

Quake 4 came out in 2005 and its almost 2011. I think that 6 years is a bit much for what I say as a few years. When I say a few I mean games that came out sometime in the last three years or so. Crysis being the biggest example of this even though it never came out on any console. Dragon Age, The Witcher, any CoD game, Unreal Tournament 3, Fallout 3... I could probably go on and on but whats the point if you love consoles you love consoles and you dont accept the fact that computers are in fact more versatile and powerful than consoles. I have a wii, xbox360, and a gaming computer. I play my xbox more than anything but I still think Crysis looks better than the newest Xbox game.

I should probably clarify. I like Nuts and Bolts but I wanted a Banjo Tooie in stunning HD. My fondest memories during the N64/PS1 era was exploring the Isle O' Hags and being completely wowed by the fact that there was so much to do and so many secrets to find. I didnt really get that feeling with Nuts and Bolts.

According to the OP pictures I would say Gears 3 looks way better, however I have to say that those screenshots of Uncharted 3 look like they were taken with a camera phone. I would have to say that by this point who cares? You will either play one, neither, or both. I am more excited for Gears because I want the answers to the questions that I have.

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts by any other name probably deserves 8.5 as it wasnt terrible, it just wasnt the collect-a-thon platformer than most of us probably wanted. As for Perfect Dark Zero..... I have no defense for that game. I feel that is most possibly the worst first person shooter I have played this generation. It might even take worst game.

Reach is Dead as a potential Killzone graphical killer, try hyping Crysis 2 or something else, just not Reachpoorfamz

Not gonna lie those are some pretty amazing looking screen shots. On the same note I bought two ps3's, one when resistance 2 came out and again when killzone 2 came out. I sold the first which is why I bought a second one for KZ2. I sold the 1st because I felt selfish as it was around christmas time and I used that money to buy presents for my family. I sold it the second time because KZ2 was nothing special. Hopefully 3rd time is a charm and KZ3 ends up with fun gameplay and great graphics.
