This is how I'm getting ready for the end of BrBa. I can't wait.

Changing the wind direction was the most pointlessly tedious thing in all of the Zelda games. It seems like they only put it in the game to annoy the player. Not only did you have to do it all the time, you were also forced to watch an unskippable cut scene each and every time. They should hotkey the wind's requiem song and give you the option to turn off the cut scene... either that or give us a motor boat. Changing the wind direction was worse than looking at a loading screen. I'd rather be riding elevators in mass effect than playing the wind's requiem over and over again. That one stupid mechanic marred a great game that could have been perfect. I love Wind Waker, but changing the wind direction is the bane of my existence.
On the other hand, I'm still a kid, and Homer's dialogue in both The Simpsons Road Rage and Hit and Run were brilliant in my opinion.paranoidpixie95I had almost forgotten about Hit and Run. It was surprisingly good. Somehow after a long history of bad Simpsons games, and during the series decline, they actually managed to make a good and funny Simpsons game. I was shocked.
What do you think are some really good comedic video games? I can think of a few which contain a lot of funny dialogue/humorous situations.
Conker's Bad Fur Day, Fable, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Jade Empire, Monkey Island, Paper Mario, Portal, Timesplitters
What are some others? What are your favorites?
My personal favorite is Jade Empire. Pretty much all of Bioware's games have a good bit of humour in them, but the comedy in Jade Empire is almost nonstop. On top of that it still manages to tell a dramatic story filled with twists and turns at the same time. Plus the gameplay is excellent. It's such a great game.
