So this isnt really a problem i have now, but rather one i had when i used to play oblivion a year ago. So you know when you meet up with jauffre with the heir to the throne? and you have to go to the blades hq up in some high mountain and then you're supposed to go to the city? well. . .everytime i get into the city, guards attack me[ one at first, and then two, and then a third one comes along. and i can never kill them all. :[] and they would call me thief and stuff. so does that mean i cant take anything from anybody? like if i kill a villager and take their stuff will that make them attack me? what if i steal the horse in weynon priory? because i really want that horse. . .

errr. well it is pretty ugly. . .is the first one worth playing? I mean the graphics are pretty dated. is the gameplay that unique/special/worth it?

I can't force you but just try knight of honor, it look like a rts games but i don't think the genre of this game is a common rts (i.e like warcraft or aoe), but it's more like total war with no turn based gameplay this makes the strategy gameplay more realistic. There is another game that come to my mind. It is Jade Empire, the combat gameplay are great and supported with good storyline. keren_man

So i just replayed the beginning where i left off a little and heres what my video settings are at:

Particle effects: Low

gamma:14

res: 1440x900

dynamic shadows: off

texture detail: low

filtering method: linear

motion blur: off

vertical sync: off

grain: off

I've come to the conclusion that it's not really blurry but rather the reaction time between me moving my character left and right or forwards and backwards is not like normal games,it takes longer, not the mouse movements but the WASD ones. any help? :]

Saying something is unique and atmospheric is not horror. What are you twelve? When I say it's unique and atmospheric I mean the game is interesting. It is nowhere near frightening. My chicken friend was also avoiding BioShock for this reason until I handed him my copy. Two days later I got a call from the guy asking me why I hadn't recommended it sooner to him. :roll:

I don't sugar-coat things, particularly for a game I don't even like that much to begin with. I just know that most people tend to like it. It has a one-of-a-kind setting (unique and atmospheric)with an interestingstory. Maybe you should just play Torchlight and call it a day. You sound like an E10+ kind of guy with all of this M-rated phobia you have.

Can you give me more info on Gothic? Because all the review videos are in german/russian/polish[not too sure] and most of the reviews target the graphics. . .[which is pretty bad from what i can see]. And from the small clips i've seen and pictures it honestly looks like a much uglier morrowind/oblivion
