you've got to be kidding me. Ubi is giving a platform designed for children under twelve years of age an exclusive zombie apocalypse game. horse crap marketing. my prediction is that the game will be garbage and will not convert hardcore zombie enthusiasts over to a Wii platform. Sorry Nintendo and Ubi, i play video games made for men, on machines built for men. if you wanna be competitive - then stay in your lane.
@cachinscythe @UniversalCypher the strangest thing about this whole discussion is that there is actually somebody here defending the problem. personally, i dont see scrapping every last cent out of the consumer as "necessity". if they're not thinking about ways to maximize profit while at the same time benefiting the consumer, but only ways to maximize profit, then i dont see how their motives dont point towards greed. i agree that the game developers do deserve to get paid, the fact that they work hard to entertain us can not be argued, but gamers dont deserve to have their love of gaming preyed upon simply because they love to game.
@evil_devil_mons releasing a game that is still in development is actually a joke..but i cant tell if you're rooting for the game or not..it does look terrible..cant see why anyone would root for it..
wow..who the hell cares about whether or not the publishers see a dime from second hand sales. geez, you think what they already get just isnt enough - it really isnt enough is it? we buy these games, in the millions upon millions, and they're all rich because of it, because we purchased their games. who else is going to purchase video games...turtles? pssh. i mean shoot, what if i just start giving video games away, am i going to be arrested for aiding a theft? Plus, they have DLC, we have used games. how can they take that from us, when these days - we literally have to hold our breath on every new game released because we have no idea whether its going to be a crap heap or not. we already dont get what we pay for as it is. there was millions of disappointed gamers in 2011 - a year with a ton of huge releases. if we always knew that we were going to get a high quality product each and every time, maybe some of these things wouldnt seem so completely ridiculous. seriously, its 2012 - no more excuses - give us legendary games, and we'll call it even.. -UC
@cachinscythe i think you're missing the point entirely. DLC shouldnt exist in the first place - this is why whats discussed in this particular article is an issue. this is like buying a car with the trunk locked until you buy a separate key to open it. you already paid for the car, the car comes with a trunk, but you cant use it. its nickle and dimming at its most devious.. -UC
