Here's my take:
I'm sure that 5 years ago when little Timmy here was setting up his Xbox Live account, he got to the point where he would get to choose his Gamertag. He probably thought to himself, "Self, don't let me down. Think of a really cool and really funny Gamertag so that everyone will remember me."
Then, something sparked in Timmy's brain and said, "Hey! Wouldn't it be funny if we used the name UglyJackass?"
The smart half of Timmy's brain was all like, "No, I probably shouldn't push my luck and use a somewhat naughty word in my Gamertag. What if I were to offend someone and get in trouble?"
Then the evil and unreasonable side of Timmy's brain LOLed and said, "Bah, who the crap is going to be offended by the word 'Ugly'?"
Smart: "No, silly goose. Not "Ugly"... "Jackass".
Evil: "... Oh. Well let's just try it."
Smart: "Alright fine, but I'm telling you, there's no way it's going to work. We're going to get in trouble."
Evil: "Hey, look at that! It worked!"
Fast forward to present day, and here we are. The smart half of your brain was right, but the stupid attention-whoring part of your brain won the argument 5 years ago and got the Gamertag through. And now the stupid part of your brain is trying to claim innocence of any wrongdoing because it's been your Gamertag for 5 years, and instead of saying "Alright, I can understand why SOME peoplemight be offended by this Gamertag", you're trying to play the role of the victim and "show Microsoft that their system is flawed."
One would think that the logical and mature thing to do would be to just grow up, count your losses, and change your Gamertag to something that is sure not to draw negative attention to yourself. But then again, common sense doesn't pay the rent and sure as hell doesn't grown on trees.

I appreciate you spending the time typing up an imaginative and funny story but that's not the reason I made my gamertag. I created it because there's a website that has the same name.
