While you can play on any PC with the dig download (I purchased the same way) you do need to be aware that you can only play on 1 pc at a time with one acct...if you are playing on na laptop for example someone else cannot use same acct on a desktop.

It seems short because people are in a rush to get to inferno mode and they are just going straight through the main quest...Take time to not only wander more but actually read the dialogue and pay attention to the little details like moving water in the background and not only will it last longer but it will always be more interesting. Stop rushing people!
I have never been very fond of the barbarian class as they have always had a very limited strategy but I have to admit that the Barb class in D3 is more interesting to me / fun 2 use than either the monk or DH....My personal favorite so far has been the WitchDoctor but if the pets die he can be pretty squishy.
You have to wait for it to spread automatically but if you obtain someone else's religion, you are giving that other civ a huge benefit as they get certain advantages such as +2 culture or production from each city or person it spreads to.
I had Spain before the expansion as well so I also wondered about that....Yes the expansion is certainly worth it just for the religious aspect...There are so many new civs you won't feel jipped by already having one and I certainly recommend buying the Inca at some point since they are not included in G & K....The expansion doesn't change the basics of the game but adds so much content that each turn becomes far more complex and each decision has much more of a noticible impact than before.
While I love the game and am enjoying the expansion I am a little dissapointed in the leader choice as some seem just too similar as what was in the basic game....Maybe I haven't played enough to see the unit/trait differences just yet but some civs like Pacal/Montezuma seem too similar as does Russia/Austria...Is this possibly a new take on how civ 4 had 2 leaders for each civ?
While I have not played as Ethiopia yet I have found them to be very obnoxious and unreasonable diplomatically...Even if I have an obviously larger army and several citystates by my side they still demand and exorbitant amount of $$ to end a war..Personally I have struggled so far to make any progress with Boudica (maybe cause I'm not focused on religion enough yet?) but I have found Dido (Carthage) to be pretty exceptional with both the military and culture even before she ever gets any access to the elephant/mountain traits.
It's a great game, but abit on the long side. Takes forever for your civilization to develop the techs that you really need. Speaking of civilization, that is exactly what the game is like, other than the fact that in this, the Ai is pretty amazing and much more human-like than Civ, where they all seem to to nothing but cheat! It is nothing like total war & I personally just picked it up at target for just $5 on clearance! I also have the origional w/o the expansion & I did hear that I'm not missing much without it. Overall it is a great game if you have some time, but also expect a bit of a high learning curve if you are not familiar with the Civilization series.
It was nifty in the beginning with the PS2 but now its just annoying to be honest. I go out of my way to shut it off as I normally find it to typically get in the way and actually detract from the game experience.
