Yea i signed up. Its supposed to emphasize pvp combat, which sounded pretty cool to me. Your supposed to be able to level up entirely from just pvp.

Yea hl2 is pretty forgiving if you set it to slightly lower settings. I was able to play it (on low setting mind you) on my old desktop with 512mb ram, athlon xp1800, and a gforce4 ti4280 64mb.

Natural-Selection is probably my favorite mod of all time. There are so many good ones though. I think the original Day of Defeat and TFC for HL1 and Air Buccaneers for UT2004 are up there on my list as well.

You should also take notice that on their sigs it says "Powered by...." And it says the website clear as day.

Oh look at that! You can even click on them to be directed to said website.

I was going to give you a 1 out of 10, but i saw vista. so you get a .5. And if what these people say is true about it being an alienware, then you get a -3 out of 10.

(This was in response to the original poster)

I just got a 360 and im very impressed with it. There is a decent library of phenomenal games and the multiplayer is pretty amazing. I also like the whole layout of the dashboard. I think they may have fixed alot of the kinks the earlier 360's had. As far as wating for the elite, its all up to preference. Personally i think its useless. I cant use hdmi, i have it hooked to my monitor via vga cables anyway. If i ever get an hdtv, the component cables will be fine. The bigger harddrive is useless unless you plan on using the movie service on xbox live, or you keep your demos forever for whatever reason. You can set up your 360 to play the songs on your pc through your network so you dont even need them on the hardrive. If the elite was going to be shipped with a cooler cpu id say go for it. But alas, it is not.

Excellent call on Undying, although you pissed me off indirectly. I went to go reinstall it and i cant seem to find the disk. Im not going to beat a dead horse and include it on my list.

Air Buccaneers:
Probably one of the buggiest mods i have every played, but i don't think i have ever laughed harder while playing a game. The whole concept was brilliant. There are fleets of air balloons with cannons on them. Each balloon could be controlled by a single person, but when you got two or three on there you could really do some damage. One person driving, another loading, then the other shooting. Funniest moment in gaming history was when i loaded a cannon and my friend fired right when our other passenger ran in front of the cannon. It shot him off into oblivion. There were even elements of strategy. You could load different ammunition into the cannons to do different things. You also had the option to simply jump aboard an airship and fight it out with swords to commandeer it.

Rise of the Triad:
Just a fun game in general.

Eternal Darkness:
I had to stray away from pc games for a second. This is one of the few games i deamed worthy enough to give multiple play throughs. I think it was a blast to play and the story was pretty solid.
