Uh.... Well, for a start, we'd have to be living in an alternate universe for that to happen, but yeah. I think if in this universe Square was to make a gory Final Fantasy game, stuff would hit the fan. I mean, Final Fantasy's got a very good name in the gaming world and has a reputation to uphold. If they were to change the way FF felt, a lot of people would be turned off of it.

do you gus like final fantasy x or finalfantasyx2 plz tell me cause i want to buy one of those two

jotoman

Um.... FFX. FFX-2 isn't much good without it, since it's the sequel anyway. Maybe make your own thread next time, though. :P

Anyway, on topic, I think Omega in FF8 was pretty darn tricky. Heck, Ultima trounced me pretty well.

There's a very simple reason that there were 13 knights in the KotR summon.... Because there were thirteen knights of King Arthur's Round Table.... Lancelot, Percival, Bors, Galahad, Bedivere, Kay, Gawaine, Geraint, Gareth, Gaheris, Lamorak, Tristan, and of course King Arthur himself. I doubt they'll resurrect the summon just because the soon-to-be upcoming Final Fantasy will have the number 13 in the title. And if they were going to bring them back at any point, I would have thought they would have done it by now. It's probably not very likely. Of course, I am sure we'll be seeing Shiva, Ifrit, Cid, and probably Biggs and Wedge (Square's ongoing tribute to Star Wars) tucked in there somewhere.

There were many annoying aspects of FFX-2, but I'd actually say it was a pretty good game.... I kinda like where they ended with FFX, but the sequel wasn't all that bad. As for the FFVII stuff.... Well, I always did like FFVII.... I just hope they don't get too carried away with themselves....

Kingdom Hearts. I never was that impressed with CC. It has a lot of faults. The soundtrack is the best of any game I know, however.

Still, Kingdom Hearts was a lot more fun to play.

San Andreas I'd say. Lot more to do, lot more depth of gameplay, and overall more fun missions. As others have mentioned, though, Vice City had a much better selection when it came to radio.... All of SA's music sounds the same except for the junk on K Rose..... Meanwhile, VC had Maurice Chavez! Not to mention a wide variety of music.

Also, I like the color scheme of VC better. It was sunnier and easier to see. I mean, I can understand where the lighting in SA was setting a mood, but there was a lot of times where I just plain couldn't see anything. Everything would either be pitch black or a soft of burnt orange..... Night time was good, though.
