Whats the hardest OPTIONAL BOSS in any FInal Fantasy game?

what do you guys think is better final fantasy or kingdom hearts

because i dont know if i should get final fantasy x or final fantasy x2:D

Um.... FFX. FFX-2 isn't much good without it, since it's the sequel anyway. Maybe make your own thread next time, though. :P

Anyway, on topic, I think Omega in FF8 was pretty darn tricky. Heck, Ultima trounced me pretty well.

omega is the optional boss in ff8 not ultima .. unless you don't want to get eden ..

Omega Weapon in FFVIII if you don't use the invincible stat, otherwise Ruby Weapon from FFVII

For example....

FF5: Omega. Shyryu
FF7: Emerald Weapon, Ruby Weapon
FF8: Ultima Weapon
FF9: Ozma
FF10: Nemesis
FF10-2:Trema Soulja_West

Um, the first time I got Eden wasn't from Ultima, it was from Tiamat, meaning you can get it without beating Ultima, you just can't really power it up.

Let's see, hardest optionals would be-

1-Emerald Weapon from FF7. This one killed me more times than anything else before I figured out it's secret.
2-Ruby Weapon from FF7-Hard armor on this one.
3-Hades from FF9-Didn't lose to him but he was harder than Ozma IMO
4-The Snail and Magical blob from FFX-Though not as hard as Penance (have the American version, so didn't fight it) or even Nemesis, they're not the easiest to beat. I actually tried to use purifying salt on the snail just to see how realistic the game is (not that realistic :( ...). I beat it them all, these are just the ones that challenged me the most.

well you can't appriciate Kingdom Hearts that much unless you have played some FF games first.

FF X is definetly bettey FF X-2. FF X-2 is a sequel to FF X. So play FF X first. Most people where disapointed with FFX-2. But in my opinion, I think that FFVII, FFVIII, and FFIX are better then FF X. But FF X is still a great game.

I agree with ObliVioN on this one, definatly go with final fantasy I also like FFVII and FFVIII better as well, but I liked X a lot too.

i think that the wyvern is tricky too

like robotx70 i too did take a long time to figure out emerald weapon even though he is pretty easy after you figure him out

i took a little bit of time to figure out ultima weapon and then i beat him after a whilejotoman

couldn't you have said all those things in one single post instead ?

The hardest optional boss would have to be Emerald Weapon. His Aire Tam Storm was no joke! And those other attacks were just as strong.
