It costs more to execute an inmate than it does to feed and house them.
No abortions means millions upon millions of extra children born into adoption centers. Where is all this money going to come from? People don't seem to realize that if all these millions of extra children went to adoption centers, SOMEONE has to pay for them. Adoption centers wouldn't have the money or resources to care for so many extra children.
Thats a myth. You actually belive that a shot cost more than housing someone at 60k a year for 50 years? do the math hun it dont add up. Ah i figured it out! heres a way to pay for all those kids! execute any death row innmate immediatly after the court proceddings if there is iron clad evidence that they did the crime. Would be a better way to spend that 60k a year. The average execution costs a few millions. You don't seem to factor in appeals, jury, etc etc. You can't just say "KILL HIM!" and be done with it, this isn't the 1500's.
Death penalty costs
The reason it costs so much, as stated in your linked article is because of the long appeals process. Which is why i stated we need to shorten the appeal process in cases that involve ironclad dna evidence. Hell, take them out back to a firing squad for all i care. they deserve less than that.
