E3 Should be about the gamers. I think they went in the right direction this year. A smaller crowd will allow for better coverage for print, web, and television. It's cool that some of the public could go to some of these events in the past, but the concern should be more focused on a showing to the widespread masses, not some 50,000 people who live around the west coast. It obviously needs work since it is a huge change, but that's to be expected. It would be nice if they can manage to get a few more smaller games/developers into the mix, though. Still, the big games are the most important.
