@BrunoBRS: In fact, only the challenger train outside and battle Gym leader, the Gym's member do train and learn (and die hard protecting it too) in the Gym. But yeah, if "you" mean the PC, then you can only be a challenger.
@Darion350: Well, Prison Architect take 30$ too, isn't it? RimWorld is very similar to Prison Architect in term of design, game play and is pretty playable in it's (current) Alpha state just like Prison Architect. I think it's a good game and deserve it price, but will take a long time to release and:
"If you bought the game on or before November 4, 2014 you will get a key when the game is released on Steam. If you bought the game after that, we will try to get you a Steam key but Valve’s policies prevent us from being able to guarantee this." Source
In compare with Prison Architect, IMO, Rim World have a better sense of progression with your colony grows, have more colonist and resources,,... but with a lackluster, hard to control combat together with a "too realistic" damage system.
RimWorld is also more resource intensive (or worse optimization :) ) and start lagging when your colony became a little big (the game is written in Unity with 1 dev). Note that it's been a while since my last time play RimWorld, and I plan to continue playing it when version 1,0 release.
@saturatedbutter: Haha! I do have problem with the path-finding too. Usually in dire situation, I tend to manually order them for the most efficient, Well, guess I'm too easy-going for this game, just love new ideas on the market, Prison Architect and RimWorld, it's hard to find games like those two in a Steam full of similar, unoriginal games.
@saturatedbutter: :) Is that so? That's just too bad then. But you do enjoyed it, do you? Unlike many other management, simulation games, this game is good and I enjoyed it, the bugs is not game-breaking or really affect my experience enough to be on the negative points for me.
The campaign is just a failed tutorial, that I agree with you, it is just finished in between 2 months and is clearly not the main point of the game. But so many people argue about it.
About the bugs, I haven't met much in my prison, and if there is, you should report it, the devs is very active and responsive to player. View their Early Access progress: http://www.introversion.co.uk/prisonarchitect/builds.html ,they are much better than many AAA company that just forget customers out there. Also, there is a big different between a platforming game riddled with bugs and a complex management game with a lot of mechanics riddled with bugs
Anyway, seeing that you have spent 100-200 hrs, I think you should know what this game deserve better. With me, it's a 8/10.
Instead of one hit a year, Ubisoft tried to make a hattrick this year and it turn out they failed all three. Let's hope next year's The Division is better.
I have no problems with the score but "Not enough choice when it comes to colour scheme customisation" in The Bad seems to be a bit harsh especially when you mentioned about it in only 4 Half-Line.
