@AggrandizedUser I disagreed with Carolyn's motivations for the "bad" parts of the review, too. What I don't really understand is that you say personal attacks and disrespecting her gender choice is wrong, yet you're fine with it when people call her "feminist scum"? That's a personal attack too, you know.
@stuff238 Apparently it attracted you as well, because that post certainly makes you look like one. Some articles I agree look like trollbait, but calling employees biased basically means you're biased towards them yourself. They have their opinions. You have yours. Take the time to let it sink in that this is not a bad thing, please.

If you took issue with the review, but posted constructive criticism or at least, didn't make any personal attacks on the reviewer, then I don't see why you should feel offended. And a 10 out of 10 is an extremely high score that very few games get here, so I'd say a 9, being the next best thing, is very high anyway. And let's be honest here, many people DID take issue with the fact that a woman reviewed the game. Carolyn, no less. A lot of posters didn't even respect her gender of choice. How do you think that would come across?
@eddysaurus I'd like a dislike function. But it boggles my mind how people are offended by the Feedbackula video. It basically carried the same message that this one did. Yes, it was conveyed differently, but then Johnny and Danny have different styles.
It boggles my mind even more how people who didn't make personal attacks felt offended by the Feedbackula vid. because, you know, that video and this one wasn't aimed at that group.
@IanNottinghamX I agree that some of the headlines are misleading at times and that's not good. I could also care less about the "analyst says" articles.
As for reviews, I always think it's very important to see how a game made the reviewer feel. I also know that reviews should never be taken as absolute fact. They're just trying to give you a guideline. This is why gamespot isn't the only one in the whole world that reviews games for us. The bias thing, I agree with partially. Taking the GTAV review as an example, I disagree with Carolyn's motivation for marking the game down. But in return, people need to stop being so biased towards certain reviewers too imo.
@Elyobo While a small percentage of the community does troll just for a chance at Feedbackula, they do weed out the obvious ones for it. And I like Feedbackula, because it turns negative comments into something positive. I believe that's one of the best things one can do. But to each his own, I suppose.

Danny, this video and Johnny's is something I really appreciated. I can accept that things get out of hand sometimes - after all, not all of my posts are that good and one even got deleted because I didn't think before I posted it. I'm not a saint here. But the level of personal attacks (which are NEVER, EVER warranted by the way, let's all get this in our heads now) lately has been atrocious. I don't know if it IS an age thing (22 myself), but quite frankly I don't care about the age of the commenter. If someone posts a comment that vile, I consider it juvenile anyway.
Because honestly, that's what a lot of the nastiest comments come down to. "I don't like this review at all so I'd better tell the reviewer to go die in a dark hole!" Like you said, "everyone is wrong but me!" Because apparently constructive criticism and respect is too much to ask sometimes... And sometimes, that does make me feel ashamed of my fellow gamers...
Anyway Danny, I love all your videos and I hope you'll continue doing your good work. :)
