this isnt even really big news imo a good bitof people expected it with EA L4D too and they never counted in sony fanboy wars on SW anyway cuz their on PC

well actually this is very big news, for one there had to be a sticky made which got nearly 2k post in 3 days. ME2 was the only game on the 360 that could rival Uncharted 2s score on Metacritic and while ME2 was never exclusive, it had a 96 and wasn't on the PS3 which was big for the 360 but now that game is coming to PS3
funny. was simply dismissed as an insignificant multiplat before this.
I can assure you it wasnt considered insignificant by cows.It was a multiplat but definitely not insignificant.
Because I think it is just a gimmick. You are going to get bored with it very quickly. The two companies (Sony and Microsoft) say they are reaching to the casual gamer. I thing that most people will vote that they will not be getting one of the motion controller because casual gamers on average are not on gaming forums. Also I think these pieces of hardware will not do well in market. People will get bored of the gimmick. The Wii is a great console that has sold very well. It being the most sold console in the UK. But It has one problems. There are just not enough good games that use this controller.
Many of the games shown on Move and Kinetic have been copied Wii games the kinetic sports. And some have been done before. Kinectimals Is such a copy of Eyepet it should come as a bundle. Kinetic looks like a little more refined Eyetoy. It reads your movement. eyetoy did that. what they have done is just take you out of the picture. And the talking think is cool but that really isn't anything special. I wouldn't want to get home from work and then have to shout things at a TV. i want to sit down on the couch and play games with my controller.
We saw at this years E3 that Microsoft is spent most of their conference talking about kinetic. They don't realise that only half of the xbox 360 community will buy it. Move I think looks a bit for hopeful. But still I think it is limited with what it can do.

Im sure that Sony and MS will give a lot of support now and then,Specially Sony,I mean KZ3,Socom,Dead Space,No more heroes etc
As this week I am picking up a 199$ Xbox 360, because it seems like they finally hardware wise brought out a pretty decent system, people here act like they are working for Microsoft it only matters to them that the sales of the machine are fine, and it doesnt matter if new games are coming out.
