First, I watched the ending on YouTube it is bad. Period.
Second, the Initiative people in Andromeda were doing dumb shit literally as soon as they came out of Cryo. The fact that a bunch of them turned rebel and started fighting each other as soon as shit got bad proves that the Initiative did a terrible job screening them. The stupid behavior of the asari leadership makes even less sense. Hell, the krogan are the only ones that act believably in that after that got screwed they just up and left. Then they magically hand-wave the stupid behavior as Cryo-sickness, don't you think that would have been something to plan for beforehand? It is just a clusterf*** of stupid decisions and even more stupid reactions that make it look like they just randomly picked whatever wanderlust, anti-establishment rubes agreed come along. As I said you would have gotten the same thing if you'd just picked up the whole population of Omega or Horizon.
An entire novel covers the mutiny, and they did it in a believable way. Stop trying to invent flaws in the writing where there is none.
Sorry, but Andromeda is a million times more logical than the idiot plot of ME2.

i'm sorry but if you need an outside source to understand key points of the plot then it is badly written period
