Where are the mods in all this? Can they not see that this is, at best, a blog post, and at worst, disruptive troll posting, only barely a step above something like a drasonak thread?Â

I literally took time out of my schedule to an attempt to explain the the issues he had with the story too him thinking he genuinely cared. Nope, turns out he's just a troll. Not only that, he's a hypocritical troll.Â
Keep spewing "plot hole," OP. When in reality it's just a substitue for "I don't understand the game and I'm obviously more intellegent than the writers who couldn't have noticed this issue within the first couple years of development and instead I noticed it within weeks."Â
And it turns out you are making crap up to cover a plot hole because there really is no merge....its a fan theory and the fans way of handwaving a very serious plot hole away. Then you hide behind "well they don't understand the game" when people who don't like Infinite or have problems with it. Bioshock Infinite is not nonsensical because I don't understand it, its nonsensical because the plot is so logically broken that they have to continuously handwave details all plot long. They have to do this because the story and its setting are flimsily built. One reason is that the game has made some massive changes during development and it was rushed out the door. Please tell me, what evidence do you have of a physical merge when Liz opens the tears? The ONLY thing you have evidence of merging is MEMORIES, not a physical merge. This is simply one of the games problems, this plot device lacks depth the plot device needs.Elizabeth is gifted with the ability to manipulate Tears. Tears are contingencies within the space-time continuum that show possible scenarios which, if tampered with, can enact themselves within Columbia's universe. Elizabeth is the only person known to be capable of controlling these tears without the use of complex machinery, and can exploit them to summon objects such as weapons, ammunition or parts of the scenery, as well as living beings. She can also use these tears to modify time and space, and is able to transport herself and Booker to other timelines and realities. However, her control over her powers is limited by a long distance restraining device called the Siphon, preventing her from transporting herself out of Columbia.
Looks like in order to find "plot holes" at this point you've got to disregard large portions of the story.Â
