You're too new to understand what I'm talking about.

[QUOTE="zyrumtumtuggerm"]I think there are heli mods in Microsoft Flight Sim X? Not sure...AdrianWerner

there are some, but they're all crap and non-combat.

We have survived almost a decade solely on mods for Longbow2 and most of all Enemy Engaged, people did wonder with that game.

It's the same with other sim subgenres. THe last good WWI sim was Red Baron 3D, in 1998, mods kept it alive, but 11 years is too much for any game to stand. And this year we got not one, but two amazing new WWI sims: Rise of Flight and Over Flander Fields P3

WWII tank sims are similiar, Panzer Elite was last good WWII tank sim released (in 1999) and late last year we got two very good WWII tank sims: T34 vs Tiger and Steel Futy

It's insane, I have actual backlog of simulators to play (especially since there's also the X3: Terran Conflict and newest mission pack for Space Shuttle Missions to play through). 5-6 years ago the genre was completely dead and if somebody would tell me then I would have a backlog of new sims to play...I would think he's completely nuts

A decade worth of mods?

The EyeToy is a 2D camera. Natal is a three dimensional camera that captures your movements using IR in a 3D space.

EyeToy was a two dimensional camera that captured your movements without any depth. In the Peter M. demo the girl actually mimicked putting on a pair of goggles like she naturally would have and the software responded appropriately. It was like some **** out of Minority Report.

The technology is light years ahead of the Wiimote. A 3D camera that replicates movements in a true three dimensional space. Preset Waggle is archaic compared to this.
