I really enjoyed this reading this, but I wanted to make one point about the Mk50. It's basically the logical conclusion given his history. In every movie, his armor has improved according to his failings in his previous encounter. His suit began to fly to him because it took too long and was too perilous to have humans bring it to him, for example. In Civil War, he would have managed to kill Bucky if his targeting and boot jet weren't damaged, so the nano suit can repair damage on the fly. I also don't believe he just imagines things into existence on the fly. There's definitely mind reading going on, but in my head at least, the weapons and tools he uses are pre-loaded designs he activates as needed. However, you could argue the way the nanobots shift from his leg to make the sword in his final encounter with Thanos is evidence of your "do whatever I need whenever I need it" logic.
But ultimately I agree. Good storytelling needs rules and the Mk50 doesn't have enough of them.
Nice scare article. The issue is a big deal, but Apple has already disabled group FaceTime to negate the issue. So if you're disabling just to prevent this issue, don't bother. You're already taken care of. But that doesn't drive clicks.
@vega2505: I don't think they can be saved really. There isn't enough market for those older games. They sell some retro stuff, but demand isn't there. If it were, they'd have found that already and adapted.
They can't compete with digital, so they need to focus on hardware. Carry accessories that I can't get at Walmart, Target, or Best Buy. They also can't compete with Amazon, so focus on the instant-gratification that Amazon can't [yet] provide. Because if I have guests coming over and realize I need another controller for a Smash tournament, I'm not using Amazon. But I can get that at other major retailers too.
So focus on the things the others aren't selling. When I was looking for a flight stick / HOTAS for my PC, I would have loved if they carried at least one or two so I could put my hands on one. Instead I had to order from Amazon and hope it fit my hand well. Not that the world needs more streamers, but how about stuff like that? Desktop mics, cameras, mixboards, capture cards, sound absorbing panels... stuff like that.
Basically, they need to differentiate themselves. Because trying to compete with the others head-on isn't working and isn't going to start working.

Getting to the point, I agree completely. We haven’t had a good tactical Battlefield game in a long time. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve loved twitch shooters, but that’s not why I got into Battlefield.
Definitely none of them. The movie was originally a 2 parter, and leaks suggest the A4 title is Infinity Gauntlet. It's only a year after A3 and they haven't revealed the title yet. Bad shit is going down in A3 and not getting resolved until A4.
@gotrekfabian: That's the very definition of an opinion. That's why I said *I* won't be playing. I'm not interested in the time period to begin with, and the gun play didn't feel good to me. It's not a game for me. And if these rumors are true - which they probably are - this new one probably won't feel good to me either.
If you enjoy it, good, have fun. Why would that bother me? For that matter, why does it bother anybody else that I don't like playing games with guns made out of freaking wood?
@spartanx169x: I've been playing Battlefield games since BF2. Every single one until Hardline. That didn't interest me much, so I skipped it. Tried the BF1 beta and hated the way every weapon performed. I get it's the time period, but that doesn't make it fun.
