Hey, I have been seeing posts about the online community dying for this game already, is that true?

I've also heard the online play isn't the greatest, can someone confirm this? If so, can yougive me specific reasons for why its not that great?

My local target has it on sale for $29 and it comes with GTA IV so i was thinking about picking it up for that low of a price. but if there is no online play then i dont know if it would even be worth getting at that price.
