The guy in the video is Jordan Maron AKA CaptainSparklez, a Youtuber content creator of the Polaris channel, not Howard Marks. Gamespot "journalism" at its best... ffs.

No surprise really, it has always been "Look at all the value we are going to give you if you keep subscribed !" vs "Look... at these things we can afford to give away to you in case you quit the subscription".

I know for sure which one is a better marketing pitch.

This is a beautiful remaster, it looks so so so much better than the original. I can't wait for this game.

You do realize that their ONLY statement being "November set a new record for sales of Xbox One, and Xbox One was the best-selling console in the US and UK." sounds like it actually wasn't the best selling console for November, just sold better than the PS4 in those territories, and they are trying to spin it in their favor like everything they have been doing.
