I've never been anti-DLC or complained about paying a little extra for some additional content.... For a proven game that is.

However with Forza Horizon, especially after the luke warm demo, truthfully I'm a bit leery. I played the demo a few times, while I enjoyed it, I seriously hope that the complete game is better at keeping me interested.

Anyways, I just got back from finalizing my LE copy at Gamestop so that I can pick it up later tonight, which was $79.99. I had no idea that they were releasing a paid DLC on RELEASE DAY... and a release day Season Pass for $50.00. I'm very big on having all available cars in a racing game. I've purchased every single DLC car in FM4, difference being... FM4, 3, 2, 1... Have all proven themselves first. I'm really quite blown away that they're going this route with an unproven game, basically using the Forza name to prematurely justify the game in hopes to make $$$$ off of all the DLC. It just stings a bit, especially after just dropping $80 on the LE game. If I had known they were going to be this buck wild with DLC from the get go, I probably would have passed and picked up an "Ultimate Edition" later on.. Because we all know how that works. Oh well..

Hate to break it to ya, but there is NO way this is coming this year....Oct 2013...sure. 2012? No, not unless they ship empty boxes.

We have seen more from Watch Dogs and Star Wars 1313 and neither of those games will be out till 2014 at the soonest. Have we seen gameplay from GTA V? No. Any actor list? No. Radio stations? No.

Game compaines dont "pull" fast ones on anyone. It takes a TON of planning to release a game. Retailers need to know a head of time. All that stuff takes time.

Just to look at GTA IV: The game came out 1 year and a week after the first trailer. BUT...BUT....in that time we saw a TON of other "mini-trailers" that introduced the various chacters, introduced the plot, all that stuff.

Have we seen ANY of that with this game? No. Begs the question of WHY? WHY release a trailer for a game that at the time was 2 years from release. They could have just released that thing at E3 and got a much better reaction, and people would not be wetting themselves over an Oct 2012 release that simply is not going to happen.

I agree 100%, there is zero chance of it being released in 2012.. I'm even starting to worry about 2013 now being that there hasn't been ANY info. Who knows at this point, and truthfully, I think thats what Rockstar wants us to think, "who knows".. I honestly don't see the logic behind their marketing strategy, or the decision to release the trailer back in Nov. of 2011.. I don't get it. They even stated that they'd be releasing more information around May / June, and didn't do so, I don't know what to think at this point. Either something isn't going to well, as in production or schedule wise, or this is all part of their weird way of marketing..

I've kind of lost interest since E3, and all the BS that was purposely disinformed from Gamespot and other gaming sources. Until something substantial is released or reported, everyone can go to hell with theories, speculations, estimates, predictions and hear-say.. When R* decides to open their arrogant mouths, I'll get back in the GTA spirit.

I hope they include some type of open world online multiplayer / sandbox type mode. They'll be making a huge mistake by not including it. I'm assuming there are quite a few people that are wanting this just like me.. Hell, just the other day i was telling my wife how cool it'd be if they had a Forza 4 type TDU game.. Well, here it is, I hope they do it right.. TDU had a great concept, it just severely lacked the attention to detail that T10 gives.

I'm pretty confident it'll be released in 2013.. God knows they'd be crossing into dangerous territory making everyone wait till 2014.. Jesus, I have a hard time even typing that number.

Theres no reason why it won't be ready in 2013. If it doesn't come in 2013 for some insane reason, then it won't be released on current gen platforms. The trailer definitely relfects current gen graphics, so its pretty obvious that it'll be released sometime before 4th quarter 2013. I think theres a 10-20% chance of it coming out in 2012, but its slim.

I wish everyone (analysts, journalists, everyone, etc.,) would stop making silly predictions. I also wish R* wouldn't have released the trailer so early if they knew it was going to be ages before they released additional info. I was fine without the trailer, but as soon as you release a trailer for as big of a game as GTA, everyone wants more more more more.. People are seriously going crazy.

I'm just shocked that they'd screw with us fans like that.. I can't believe it. You know, as faithful as we all are, to this site, to Rockstar, and then for them to intentionally mess with everyones hopes and emotions is pretty low.

Seriously... I want an answer to this question.. Don't you think the whole "2012 E3 FEATURED GAME" is a BIT misleading when there wasn't even a MENTION of it at E3? Nice, pretty accurate news there Gamespot.. Real cool.

Man, I really hope so too.. I don't know why the hell it would have the E3 Featured Game banner if it wasn't going to be mentioned at E3? If E3 comes and goes and no GTA V information is released, Gamespot is going to have some answering to do, along with Rockstar. I've said this before, I dont' care when it comes out, I'm not the impatient type, I just wish they hadn't released the trailer so soon dam well knowing that ZERO information was to follow for 8+ months. Its almost as if Rockstar, Gaming websites, Analysts, etc., are beginning to intentionally mess with people just to get a rise. That really pisses me off. So thats what being faithful fans earns us? To intentionally be screwed with? After buying each one of their games, always anxiously awaiting the next, and we get paid back by this? I'm a stubborn basta**, and they will lose a customer, regardless of how great the game is.

Yes, of course we will..... Really? How the hell would anyone know this when there hasn't been one single bit of information released since '11 Nov, and the game won't hit shelves for at least another year. These types of questions are ridiculous. Talk about wish lists, talk about what-ifs, talk about the f***ing polar ice caps, but for god sakes don't ask questions that obviously have no answer.
