The fact that they seemed to get the message (delivered ever so eloquently) that being able to squad up with friends and stay with them from match-match is a HUGE thing for competitive squad-based shooters such as BF is heartening, considering that was my chief reason for putting BF4 down - a constant battle to join and remain joined with friends.
I would like to see the gameplay and stability issues addressed, such as the hard system lock-up, before new content comes out. Oh, and this game STILL HAS NO PRE-MATCH LOBBY!!! What ever where you thinking? That it would make playing with friends easier if they had no way to squad pre-match but, instead, rely on DICE/EA's Battlelog buddy system? Yuck!
The PC version is the most detailed, followed by the PS3 and 360. I wanted the trophies for this game on the PS3, but bought the PC version for its true isometric viewing and superior graphics. As far as motion versus still shots go, if it's a turd at 1 FPS, 30-60 FPS is just a fast moving turd.
The images do appear a bit darker in some stills than in others. Essentially, what we all knew to be true is: a good PC with a current graphics card produces arguably the best image. The consoles seem to run neck and neck. As an owner of both a PS3 and a high-end PC, my experience is that graphically the best images come from my PC. The PS3 is a more accessible platform for gaming and can give you some gorgeous screenshots (assuming you play in HD - analog output is mud in your eye), but no console carrying a 7800 series nVidia card will ever compare to a system running a 4870/280/260 video card. This, along with other reasons is why most of us game on two separate platforms. RTS, RPG, FPS on PC, platform/action/sports on console. Maybe Steven Hawking can interrupt his work on a unified theory of physics and figure out how to mishmash all 3 platforms together for the ultimate gaming rig! With wheels!!
